its the only way I can deal with the disappointment. I've come to expect van Gaal to do the wrong thing so when I see the lineup its not soul crushing. If by some chance he sees the light and goes back to 4 at the back it will be a joyous surprise.

I would have Rooney up front and put Herrera in the "number 10" role. Bin Mata.
We are missing somebody to perfectly complement Di Maria in that diamond formation. Strootman for instance would be ideal.
