ghostbusters

Footygaf please tell me your five favourite movies

Really tough question. Off the top of my head:
Matrix
Ghost in the Shell (if only for its soundtrack)
The Naked Gun
The Empire Strikes Back
They Call Me Trinity (or just any of the great Terence Hill/Bud Spencer movies)

Not the greatest movies I've ever watched, but some I can always enjoy. Five movies is not enough to really get my preferences across.

Buy? :lol well I don't know about that then. How much are we talking here?

It's a Luc Besson movie, throw logic out of the door and just enjoy the mental ride.

It's not yet out for rent, so it'd be 12.99€.

Genuinely the best TV show in history
<3

i'm watching seinfeld

george asked his gf to marry him because he thought jerry would do the same but it turns out jerry broke up with his gf because she ate her peas one at a time

poor george

It's not like George didn't do the same stupid things.
He broke up with an girl because he lost an argument with her.

George and Kramer are the kings.

Pulp Fiction
Hot Fuzz
Batman Begins
Trainspotting
Fellowship of the Ring

If you asked me tomorrow it'd probably be different, though.

Yurt pls i literally was just about to watch godfather, so fuckin amazing. Perfect film

Decided to watch the other guys instead. Been one of those days

Haven't seen Blue Brothers but the rest are great. Especially OUATITW
BB is just a really silly movie. Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi have amazing on screen chemistry.

Loads of cameos from music stars and the song and dance numbers are brilliant.

Hot Fuzz was definitely the best out of the cornetto trilogy.

Think the next film I'm going to watch is American History X. Reservoir Dogs let me down, went in with good expectations. I was left disappointed.

Just bought South Park: Stick of Truth for £15 on PS3
May buy Wolfenstein, Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Wasteland 2 for a combined £30 on Steam as well

Sell me on those games

Splinter Cell is actually pretty good. It's no Chaos Theory (best stealth game ever made, until MGS V comes out anyway) but it's very enjoyable. I hated Conviction btw, this game is much more balanced and some of the stealthy take downs you can pull off make you feel boss.

Reservoir Dogs is amazing.

American History X, I thought was pap. Norton isn't even that good in it, and the film is preachy pap.

Difficult to pick just five films, but Kubrick, Spielberg, Scorsese, Coens are definite GOATs

A Clockwork Orange is also one of my faves, but in book form. So much fun trying to figure out what the fuck Burgess was on about with the made up slang.

A Matter of Life and Death is good. The start is really nice.

m8 Reservoir Dogs is awful. Literally just one room throughout the whole film.

How is this indicative of a poor film :lol

and it isnt literally because:

- scene in the cafe
- scene in the bathroom and the rest of the flashbacks
- scenes at joe's office
- scenes running from bank
- scenes driving to the warehouse

pls, did u even watch it

Except that part where they were in the diner, and in the jewelry store, and in the car, and on the street, and in the bathroom, and all the flashbacks :p

Tarantino is the GOAT director m8

Edit: Wilbur pls

I didn't believe her and laughed in her face

what happened?

I'm only on episode 3 of season 4 but it's just a lot better, hard to describe. Completely new story arc.

Reservoir Dogs is a sensational Tarrentino film, one of his best in fact. Far better than Pulp Fiction.

Speaking of horror films, Alien and the original Japanese Ring are the GOATs. I also really like Alien 3 Assembly Cut. I find common picks like Exorcist, The Shining, etc. incredibly overrated.
