Still seems a bit steep to me. He's saying we value DDG at £50m which is then overvaluing Bale by a fair bit.

If we really can't keep Spanish Dave then I'd take a swap deal for Bale as he's a beast in the Premier League. But you know... It's a lorra money.

RM have no reason not to value Bale more than what he was bought for.

Id rather we keep De Gea for the extra year. How much are we going to get for him? £30m. That doesn't have a material impact on our club really, just let the contract run out.

Of course that is going to happen, the money matters to the people in charge but that's how I would approach it.

Only other player worth asking Madrid for is Varane but I don't see them going for that eirher.

It's not about sheer value though. If we were to use him as a bargaining chip to get a good player coming our way rather than just lose him on a free a year later, then I'd take it.
