Spent most of the second half on my phone, just a defensive show. Actually pretty decent defending, but no chance to break.

Rashford should have taken his chance though.

"Ended up". It was a fair challenge and no one was hurt - that doesn't make it dangerous at all.

50/50 on it. Of course, some will tell you it was a definite leg breaker. It looked worse than it was, but you really can't go in like that these days.

The hypocrisy on the ref was things like that aren't a booking, but Herrera? Oh yeah, def red at 35 mins in :/ How did Rojo not even get 1 yellow?

Never much hope after the sending off, and now we will lose Herrera for 2 games. At least it wasn't the dismantling we took in October, progress. Means we can get a draw at Old Trafford lol.

Not a United fan obviously. But man Pogba pisses me the fuck off, puts in a pathetic performance and then is laughing and joking after the game. It's a joke!

He's gone from one too many touches to know touches in this game. He needs a serious confidence lift but no idea where it will come from.

Modern football fans in general. Same dickheads who wanted Klopp out after the patchy spell.

Or those who bring in "Wenger Out" signs before a match is even played.

There's no sense of perspective anymore. It bugs the fuck out of me, even if it's mostly heat of the moment stuff.

Damn, Mou being savage.

Mourinho on Chelsea fans' abuse: "Until the moment they have a manager that wins four Premier League's for them, I am the number one." [pa]

Mourinho: "Judas is number one." [pa]

But also salty Mou

Mourinho: "The specialists will say a lot about him (Pogba) and it comes from envy, they will never ever earn 10% of what he does."

He's been anonymous for most of the season. It wasn't until we started playing Carrick and Herrera with him that he showed some glimmers of his potential. But with the pricetag looming above him, he really hasn't done it at all. He has picked up a bunch of assists for Ibra but other than that has gone missing again and again.

We're so fucked when Carrick retires though.

1st reply was excellent. 2nd not so good.

Protecting his player, but yeah it's iffy. First makes up for it, as those "fuck off Mourinho" chants will have cut deep. It might not be great to see him at Man Utd, but cmon, he was fired and was going to end up at some other "big" Club.

Not to mention Mou himself has never chucked Chelsea under the bus (post-leaving).

'Judas is still number one', Jose Mourinho tells Blues fans
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho told Chelsea fans "I'm still number one" after he was heckled during the FA Cup quarter-final at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho, sacked twice by Chelsea, was called 'Judas' by the crowd and responded by pointing three fingers in reference to the three Premier League titles he won with the club.

He said: "Until the moment they have a manager that wins four Premier Leagues for them, I'm the number one.

"Until then Judas is number one."

N'Golo Kante's low shot was enough for Chelsea to beat holders United - who had Ander Herrera sent off in the first half - and seal a semi-final against Tottenham at Wembley.

Mourinho, 54, is Chelsea's most successful manager after winning titles over two spells in 2005, 2006 and 2015.

He said: "They can call me what they want. I am a professional. I defend my club.

"I'm really proud of my players, I'm really proud of Manchester United fans."

Mourinho would not discuss the Herrera red card, calling referee Michael Oliver "a referee with fantastic potential".

He said: "I don't want to go in that direction. In four matches he [Oliver] has given three penalties and a red card. I cannot change that. I shook his hand and said many congratulations.

"Mr Oliver goes home and he can do his own analysis, because I don't want to analyse his work."

Mou whining but being sensible as the Man Utd board partially has his balls. To be fair though those remarks about the Chelsea fans are class.

It's a rare sight to see United leave Stamford Bridge with a positive result, 3 wins in the last twenty games there lol. On to Rostov.

Mike Oliver sure hates Manchester doesn't he?

Glad we are out as I expected, quite frankly I'd have played fringe and academy players. Jose has an ego issue that tells him to work his players to death. Pogba needed rest and he still made him do a 90 after Russia and he's going to expect him to do a 90 on Thursday too

Pogba should had never move out from The Old Lady.T_T The hell is he thinking there moving to a Europa League team when he had soo much better chance of getting Ballon D'Or If he stays at Turin.T_T

Now he will get called Flopba everyweek.T_T

Paul Pogba was the best player on the pitch last night, according to Mourinho.

I completely forgot he was even on the pitch. In fact, I completely forgot he even signed for Man United.

It is safe to say we have seen this before. A lot of players had issues during their time at some point, being called overrated or flop or this or big game flop. Time will tell, at least for now, let them enjoy the banter, it is only part of the game

Pogba is not a Ballon D'Or level player, he never was and he never will

Selling him for that money is the biggest robbery in recent history.

I feel like when people say this, it comes across as a knee jerk reaction of sorts. The market is a result of market forces, not necessarily player value. The season before this, he was valued around £50M by Juventus, the season after that, he was valued around £70M. Keep in mind during these periods, Neymar and Suarez joined Barca for huge sums as well so of course, Juventus would place big value on him. Then he went on to have a really good season, of course they were going to inflate his fee again. The £90M is a result of market forces, not that his football is worth that exact amount. Of course, he has potential and he is the next most marketable football player after Ronaldo, Messi, James....

Can't agree there. It's the afternoon so it's still a bit early to handle shitposting :p

Pogba is young, he needs to knuckle down and take a page from Cristiano's book at Old Trafford. We have the facilities and staff to help good players become great.

The issue with Pogba is his off the field attitude, and on the field, the sighing and moaning. Some of that may be immaturity, but yes, someone like Zlatan needs to knock some sense into Pogba. Issue with Zlat is as much of a leader and presence as he is, he isn't a "United player". We really lack the days of having United through and through players, who really sorted out the young players and didn't take the club for granted.

wait why are they calling Mourinho "Judas"?

Cause he went to a rival club? I mean, as I said earlier, he got sacked, and from that he was going to go to another big club. I can understand a little supporter frustration, but hold your tongue a bit for a guy who brought you many trophies. At least, you don't really need to be chanting "fuck off Mourinho" directly to the guy.

As for Judas if you mean the name, it's referring to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judas_Iscariot

I've been a subscriber for over a year. The beta is fine, it's just a new style player since they have added a ton of channels. For Serie A, you'll likely have to use your fubo.tv credentials on beIN Connect though. Fubo.tv only supports playing beIN 1 and beIN ñ directly thought their app. beIN Connect on PC sucks since it still uses silverlight, but the mobile app supports chromecast if you want to watch on your TV. And you can't DVR games that are outside of the two main beIN channels.

That first one hahahahah. He mad.

Tbh watching Costa and Hazard play Liverpool prob has the same effect on me too, as funny as it is to laugh I don't really blame him

Some Man Utd fans.... /s

In saying that, either us lot on in the GAF Football Topic are fairly neutered, or we're all just the rare kind of self-hating supporters who know most of our teams constantly do shite.

Even Arsenal-GAF is thoroughly self-defeated. Considering AFTV, usually Arsenal fans are a bit more explosive :p I try to do some light trolling, but no one ever takes the bait :( Instead we all just get together in here and agree our own teams keep screwing up. Where is Chelsea-GAF? You guys are like Unicorns. I'd expect more smug posts from you lot this season.

German Football GAF had a reputation before I joined, but are you all banned now? lol

Even the Barcelona/Real battle seems lacking in here. Sad times.
