I don't think our players are as average as you and a lot of others make out. There's certainly been far better players at United and there's certainly far better players out there, but who is actually average in United's first team? Young is the only one I can think of, maybe Evans depending on whether you find his brainfarts endearing or horrific.

All of your British players not named Rooney. All average and would struggle to start for other teams but Frogson has them gelled together in a manner that only he can.
