But we're not just talking about the sport in this thread, hell it's as active as ever even when there's breaks from the sport, but poking fun at other peoples teams and them as supporters is a pretty big part of being more than a casual football fan. The thing is that there's no one calling new users cunts in here, people are welcomed with open arms. People who spend 95% of their time in this thread and talk to each other every day though? Yep, cunt and other words are thrown around to each other, it's nice with communities having a bit of personality.

The whole football culture is stupid and crude and I truly hope it never changes, the attempts at trying to in this thread consistently ruins the community though.

Not going to get involved in that shit but it blows my mind how somebody even bothers lurking/reading this thread, which is full of "Cunts" since it was banned, when he got a problem with the word.

That's what irks me. I mean, it doesn't matter whether Pulga was a Madrid fan or Barca fan or whatever, but reporting a user that supports a rival team for using a word in a harmless context ? My cynicism meter is rising.

Also, I'm not sure how Omieee would take offense to Pulga's post when it wasn't even directed at him.

Why not come into this thread and ask why we use the word cunt and then decide whether or not to report a post.

So first pulga is banned, now PantyPhantom has been banned and Richie sacrificed himself. We've lost three Madrid posters in just a matter of hours all thanks to one poster who's not used to the way the community works here.

I don't see why things have to escalate this way. I think it is a problem for a community if someone who is viewed as an "outsider" is being insulted and stoned for a totally reasonable reaction which any normal person would have. The behavior and language in this thread is not "normal" by any means.

I've mentioned it before myself too. I feel that the more you guys do this sort of thing, the less welcoming it is for people who dislike this sort of tone to participate in this thread even if they enjoy the sport and want to talk about it. Is that really so hard to understand? Do you guys post in the thread because you actually like talking about the games, or do you do it just because you can throw the word cunt everywhere like it's water?

Not sure if the mods are aware, but we get a lot of juniors in here who also mostly claim to have lurked for some time. I don't think the tone in this thread is scaring people away to be honest.

Started posting in the thread because I liked football and was already registered here. Kept posting in the thread because I liked the community both when talking about football and everything else really, if I just wanted to say cunt a bunch I could easily find a forum where I wouldn't get banned doing it.

The poster making the complaint claims he has been lurking the thread for a long time. Yet the only usage of the word "cunt" that bothered him was made by a fan of a rival team at the same time that the lurker's team was losing the game. Coincidence?
