Most of us watch a lot of Hollywood stuff and American TV Shows so it's not very strange that we develope some sort of American accent.

Is Okami near as good as a Zelda game?
Hmmm. Really hard to say, Okami is a damn fine game though.
Great game, but the Zelda comparison is mostly because combat involved using the lock-on system that Zelda popularized and some going back and forth. It's a beautiful game and worth your time even if you don't finish it.
