At the risk of you getting an easier game to a trophy? No. Chelsea vs Wigan/Millwall for the FA cup is not part of the plan. You won't need to rest much for a game like that. City must win and then we can just sit back and wait for the congested fixtures to take their toll. You only need to drop points in 2 or 3 games and HOPEFULLY Spurs don't drop the ball and beat you at Stamford Bridge.
You meeting Fulham and wearing them out before we have toi play them so soon after a gruelling match against City.

Alaba vs Alves will be very important I think. Sanchez/Tello/Pedro will have to work hard to help out Alves with Ribery and Alaba.

lol, last time Barcelona just had mercy with us. I remember they didnt even attack in the second half anymore. I mean, we had Rensing in the goal and Lell and Oddo in the defense. It's just you. The u-21s have been doing very well, the u-18s not quite as well but still strong. Also bear in mind that for the FA youth cup Wisdom and Suso wouldn't even play even if they were still with the reserves. The big issue has been some long term injuries with Yesil, Pelosi and Brad Smith all out for months. At youth level the only left back is an under 16 player.

Never know in a game of football. Yeah, 3-3 last year but this year Norwich aren't the attacking threat they were under Lambert. They are also harder to break down in most matches. I don't expect a lot of goals but I expect us to win it easily enough.
Arsenal 2 - 0 Norwich would be my estimated result.
We are going to have issues with Everton and Fulham away for sure though. So we'll be dropping points for the lols.
btw, Why do you hate us so much and who do you hate more, us or Chelsea?
Not this season. This season we are taking it to the bottom teams, especially at the Emirates. Really hard to see Norwich getting anything other than a frustratingly annoying draw.

I don't hate Arsenal. They are just our rivals, my attitude towards them is more teasing than genuine loathing.
Chelsea I actually do hate, they are a horrible club with no class and I would be quite happy if they were relegated and never came back. I wouldn't want Arsenal to be relegated because the NLD and the rivalry is too much fun. It's like Batman and the Joker, Spurs might end up being foiled by Arsenal most of the time but the season-long scrap is part of the fun.

Oh I agree. I quite like Spurs, I just don't want them finishing above us because of the rivarly but in saying that I don't want any team to finish above us. I reckon our derby is the best out of the bunch. Exciting games that can go either way filled with a lot of goals. Really exciting games and part of the fun.
Chelsea are an appaling club. I really want City to smash them this weekend and wear them out enough so Fulham can beat them next week as well. That would be awesome. I really really want Spurs and Arsenal to finish 3rd and 4th with Chelsea missing out. Not only because both our clubs don't like Chelsea but it will be a stick up Abramovich's ass that with all that oil money spent over the summer they still failed to qualify. If they win the Europa, so be it, but don't want them finishing in the top 4 and don't want them winning the FA cup.
Wenger said it best in our prematch conference against Norwich that he doesn't consider Chelsea deserving of Europe this season because of their pathetic CL group stage results and Wenger's right.

Theoretically players like Robben (speed), Müller (intelligence) and especially Gomez (gasp) are fantastic for counters. That is how the latter of those became what he is. (Of course, Barca might not give them any space at all).
Even with their dominance, Bayern has scored quite a few goals on the counter.
We will see. Barca are the favourites, though. Against any team.

Ribery / Robben / Müller and Gomez (!!!) are all great counter attacking players, add Neuer who can throw the ball easily past the midfield line and you have a great counter-attacking team. You usually don't see Bayern play like that because most opponents always keep 4-5 players back when they play Bayern, but Barca could be extremely vulnerable to Bayerns counters. Matter of fact, that was Heynckes biggest adjustment after Van Gaal. He got rid of the boring horizontal Barca-like possession football and added tons of vertical elements.

Like I said to Bla, the main job is to stop us from scoring because scoring on the other side will be the easy part.
