Personally I don't think gaming needs a kick up its' ass at all. So many beautiful games coming out it is simply staggering. So many great ones came out recently too.

I'm with you on all the stuff you mentioned. That stuff is BLATANT and SHAMELESS. DLC is the one thing I admit to buying from time to time, but it still pisses me off. I bought Deus Ex: Human Revolution for 60 US dollars and paid 15 dollars for the extra chapter. I still love the game to bits, but this is too much. It is especially insulting when they release the DLC within the same release period of the game.

Highly recommended. Phoenix Wright-esque gameplay (searching for clues with the stylus, picking dialogue, etc.) with some Walking Dead like choices. I'm going to play Infinite next then get VLR for my Vita after that.

The price of From Ashes (ME3 DLC) is ridiculous. You're basically paying £8 for a short, one dimensional mission with the carrot being a unique teammate.

Infinite is a brilliant game. You'll enjoy it.
