What happened to Gomez' standing at Bayern since last season? It's a bit shocking to me how little we seem to give a shit about him anymore. :(

His luck is about to change. All he needs is a chance, which is why he bribed Cunte so Mandzukic would get a bullshit yellow and skip the next CL match. Brilliant move, really.

Pep is the new boss, get used to playing without a striker and bullshit false 9 formation.

P.S: This is a dark dark day. Porn has been banned in my country. That's it for me i am leaving this country.

Reports from Italy that we met with Jovetic on the weekend and we have submitted a 24mil bid for him. How much bullshit is this?
I can't find anything on this. But from what I gathered, it's a rumour from twitter?

20-24m* won't be enough to convince Viola if you're competing with the likes of City, imo.

*It's enough if they sack Mancini. :p

Also, Is the Fiorentina/Juventus hatred bad or something? I was reading up on it and the writer spoke about a long standing fued between the clubs and something about Baggio?

MEH! We were rivals (once?) in the 80s and buying Baggio merely rubbed salt into their self-inflicted wounds. We're sorry you suck, Fiorentina.

Vucinic mad

“All the strikers at Juventus make sacrifices. We run like crazy, but some people don’t notice these things.

“I’ve been told that I have no desire, but if you look at the Bayern game then you can see that I ran more than I did against Lazio…

“I find the criticism ridiculous.

“I can accept it if people say I play badly, but not if they say that I lack desire and I’m not committed. It’s totally absurd and it hurts.”

:(

Well, if it's any consolation Mirko, you're the only striker I'm 'willing' to keep.

Why are you reading the papers though? I wouldn't even wipe my ass with them.

Cavani "I feel good at Napoli, but in football there are many things to be put in consideration," said the Uruguay international.

"I can only say I'll give the best for this jersey until the last day I'll wear it."

Marotta pls

Cavani or Lewa!

Lol, Velthuizen is an arrogant twat who believes he's supposed to be in our national squad. Let him rot at his poor plastic club.

I honestly don't expect us to do that much at all. I expect us to sign a decent striker, perhaps Jovetic but unlikely given City's interest. The others I expect a goal keeper to definitely arrive since Fabianski is off contract at the end of this season I am led to believe and a defender and defensive midfielder.

So basically (names are just guesses)

In:

Jovetic
Begovic
Gonalons
<Random french defender>

.

Is Jovetic good enough ? Wiki says Giroud scored more goals this season.

If his price is above £15 mil then he is ok (for Ian Wright)

But seriously I'm also curious, is Jovetic good enough? I don't usually watch Fiorentina's games though they seem to have a good season this time. How well is he doing now? Does he look promising for the future? Is he getting better? Otherwise wouldn't it be better to throw out more cash on a striker that already has everything we need? Not that we'd ever throw out a huge sum for any player but at least I can dream.

Most people dislike Vitesse Arnhem cause of their past.

In the late 90 iirc they had a chairman (Karel Aalbers) that wanted to push the club to Man Uniteds level (his words) and eventually it turned out the club had tens of millions debt due to his plans.

Club got saved, normalized, till a few years ago some righthand man of Abramovic bought the club and invested shitloads of cash to get new players. Last year they had a shortage of 22 million euros in their yearly budget but that one guy pays all debts. A lot of people think Arnhem is a ''plastic'' club due to all this.

A pretty bad plastic club to add with that.

Oh and they should have won the league this year. Well, that ain't happening.

It depends on what is Arsenal looking in Jovetic. If Arsenal want a replacement for RVP or someone who can score just for fun then he is clearly not enough. But if Arsenal is looking for a striker who can also play as a playmaker (CF) and someone who can play with another striker as Giroud, then he should be enough.

Oh, I knew nothing of that. My relatives live a few hundred yards away from the Gelredome, and have cheered for their team even in the darkest hours of the recent seasons. I am so glad all their fervent support has paid off that I forgot to check so basic facts.

Still, I can't not support them.

By the way, what is wrong with the English wiki pages about Dutch football ? The paragraph about Rutten was poorly written but this one about the Twente stadium is almost comical:

FA Cup Final is a 5:15pm kick off. The last train from London Euston to Stockport (insert joke here) is 9pm. FA - putting off fans yet again.

Probably some Twente fan who wrote all this stuff.

Leonardo:
I thought that I would stay at Milan for the rest of my life, but I won't return because I had a quarrel with Silvio Berlusconi.
Good. Stay there. We don't miss you, nobody does.
Milan would be the ideal club if Moratti was the president instead of Silvio Berlusconi and with Galliani as CEO.
Oh, you mean a president who struggled for 15 years to win a couple of cups then had to wait until a major national scandal (which is still pretty shady tbh) to win half of what Berlusconi did in 27 years? Yeah. Sure. Go for it.
