To be fair, they could do ''it'' gain against 3 of them (two of them seem to start their holidays already), but can't see it.

They have a game in hand so I wouldn't rule them out yet. Newcastle appear the most mentally drained of the relegation contenders. Though we do have West Ham and QPR next. 3 points from either will save us IMO.

That gap is huge. As you said, Newcastle only need one win, which could happen easily. But for Wigan, they need to string some wins togthere which they haven't done so far this season.
