Football Thread |OT18| Have you ever seen a Mackem punch a horse?

Rafa should stick on Ba at the earliest opportunity. A bit of strength up front could bugger up Liverpool.

He's better at holding the ball up and he has better positioning.

That's obvious but... This is Rafa, will probably put on a new fullback, Ferreira to get his what second appearance of the season.

Rafa making an early sub? Never going to happen without an injury. He'll make a change at about the 70 minute mark, earliest.

Suarez cannot do anything right as of late. Probably for the best for Liverpool. If he'd continued on like he was, I doubt they'd have been able to keep him.

Would have been quite tough at the very least.

It's hard to argue that when your hand is above your head Meus.

If you look at the replay again, his arms are in a natural position as Johnson leaps up in front of him. Considering the height of the ball, its actually closer to the arms of Johnson and Terry than Suarez. But as it dips, and as Johnson's leap comes down, what you have left is Suarez's left arm exposed. He is actually looking the opposite way as it makes contact.

It doesn't appear to be a delibate attempt by him to deviate the ball away from goal using his arm. And a handball must be deliberate.

But the problem is for a lot of people in football, including commentators and referees, handball means the ball making contact with the arm regardless of intent.

He's deviating the ball away from Torres' head who is directly behind him. He delibrately raised his hand above his head and gained an advantage.

Did Suarez just bite the arm of Ivavonic?

It looked like he raised his arms to protect himself from Johnson who jumped up right in front.
