Football Thread |OT22| His true nature avoided

I view it as a drug that you spend a lot of money on and has many more side effects than the good effects. I just can't have something that will affect my health negatively, even if it does actually have some enjoyment in it. This is why I've managed to avoid smoking my whole life thus far.

I know. Crazy talk.

Master of crazy talk assigns me with his role.

"PS4 is just a tablet cpu" I'll never forget u cunt.

How do you survive bro? Do you gain sustenance from Thiago rumours? :p

On mostly girls. Not being drunk gives me a lot more time to socialise :p

First seafood, now this.

Come on :(

What shocks me most about people who drink (so like 90% of people I know) is how much money they spend on it.

Like if I go out with people who are having a drink ill spend a significant amount less than they do.

How do you guys do it?

Price of alcohol these days makes my smack habit look like a paragon of fiscal parsimony.

Pubs are expensive as fuck. Like, I'm only 17 but in my town we have a kind of festival I guess where the pubs suddenly become pretty lax and its really easy to get served. Fuck jagerbombs are expensive, spent like 30 quid over the course of the day.

We found our selves a youngster

The only seafood I ever eat is battered cod. Had shrimp once, can't remember what it tastes like.

FootballGAF (Linius) delivers again.

@Hitcher, can't find alison, portishead song? Or is it just a band?

I think I prefer the OT stuff in this thread tbh, possibly just because nobody cares about Scottish football enough to interact with me on that :p

Edit: I like seafood but fuck that on a pizza

What's great about this thread is that if you stick around long enough, the OT stuff is easy enough to involve yourself in, and pre- and post-match the football stuff is genuinely involving, entertaining, insightful and interesting. Even the Scottish shit!

You've joined us at a bad time when muppetry is at its highest and quality posting is at its lowest.

It's pretty interesting.

That's more or less how I see it too but no doubt being raised in a religious family has shaped my view on it. If I hadn't been then most likely I'd drink like most other people do - but I'm so glad I don't because to me the health side of it is just awful. If I wanted to have a drink I easily could but I've never even contemplated it.

I suppose you can compare it to some other things though, even just healthy eating - depends how much you drink really.

Stuff's been relatively cheap recently because I can get a whole pitcher of Strawberry Pimms for 6.49 at Spoons and I have a fuckload of free chicken cards lying about.

Unfortunately I still have no money so I don't know what the fuck's going on.

Had a Chicken Legend with Mayo the other night. Lovely.

My McDonalds meal is Mayo Chicken Legend, large chips and Diet Coke with no ice, double Cheeseburger

Unfortunately I'm a fat cunt so I don't know what the fuck's going on.

I'll be getting the last of us soonish too, so I can even join in with that shite.

I forgot about scampi, that's on another level from all seafood. Of course almost all red meat's another tier above it, but still.

So you're 17 and you were lecturing us on music the other day.

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

I'm meeting a girl this week, I'm going to make Paella, she's going to make Lemon Drizzle cake, then we're going to eat it while we watch Breaking Bad. There'll be wine too. I can't fucking wait.

That sounds perfect. A nice dry white wine I hope.

No matter how much I eat, I don't put on weight, I'll never become fat!

I guess your situation is a little different since you live in an environment where people socially drink too. It must be much more difficult.

Personally, I've only been offered a handful of times and that was outside of here. Mostly in Egypt where it's legal and I've always stuck with my views on it. Being able to look at the both sides of the spectrum definitely helped me make up my mind on those things.

You lucky bastard. I'm 13st 4 at the moment, fluctuating between dead on 13st and up to about 13st 6. Ate fuckloads this week and haven't been gym because I've been so busy so I'm feeling a tubby fucker.

The downside is I'm stuck with this Peter Crouch physique

I had an incredible metabolism up until about a year ago and I've put on so much weight. Really want to lose it, but I love food and don't have time for gym right now :(

next week
next week
moyeezus will motivate me

For ages I could eat whatever and not put on weight. It's still largely the case but slightly less so (I'm 23) - lately I've sensed I've gained a tiny bit of weight.

Luckily my appetite is on the floor these days. I barely have 2 meals a day.

Unless its with tuna, I HATE mayo. Especially detest places that put it on your burger without even asking if you'd like mayo or not.

^^lol

wut? like what?

Just really small decisions and mistakes that you wouldn't normally make. Like yesterday I thought our football game was off, so I took a shower when I'd normally wait to make sure, and sure enough ended up playing anyway. And I keep forgetting little things like putting the phone on the charger, feeding the cat, locking the doors etc.

Well this is weird. I've listened to Time dozens of times, but never Dark Side of the Moon, so I don;t have a clue what is happening with this album intro
