Liverpool to put dirty leeds in their box with a 2-0 opener. Chelsea, Arsenal and United all look like they have improved so I think if City or us don't run away again it could be an interesting year and there's a smaller bracket of clubs threatening to upset even more. Looks (on paper), like a decent year and the lack of crowds may help/hinder otherwise good/bad clubs.

Just don't underestimate Leeds, they will go high intensity and they do have the ability to surprise. That said if you don't get caught, should be a victory. Other than our own match definitely most interested in that one.

They have a world class manager though so you need to be careful.
 
Strange game. Van Dijk needs to switch on. Swanning round like its a friendly. Leeds were unlucky with that pen. Harsh. I'll take it thougn.
 
If Liverpool had took their chances this game would have been settled earlier. I was hoping Leeds could do something against our main rivals but after watching that I doubt it.

West Ham look like they might go down already dominated on their own turf by Newcastle.

Your league is dogs dirt. There is only two teams that can win it and the majority of teams give up when they go a goal down.

If Leeds didn't give away set pieces it would have ended 3:0 for Leeds.

See, I can do it too.

There was one team on the pitch that created and finished from open-play.
This was nowhere near such a clear-cut game as you make it out to be. A draw would have been more than fair.

It is ironic that he threw the team that knocked his own team this season out of the UCL under the bus, even more ironic with the one goal remark when you consider how many times his team thought they beat a La Liga team only for that team to come back and either draw or out right beat them, not to mention knocking out several BPL clubs out of Europe.
Leagues fanboys/fangirls are on one hell of a drug usually.

Yeh, I was thinking this. If the English champions got knocked out by a Spanish team who aren't in this top two he mentions then what does that say about the English league?

James apparently need Carlo to function properly plus a team that prioritize playing for his personal strengths, I'll be watching how it all go for James there.

The Glazers are parasites. Draining what they can from a club they put into debt to buy so they can pay themselves huge dividends. That graph is just the money they have paid directly to themselves, not including the more than a billion that's gone into repaying their debt.

The BPL marketing and income helped them tremendously to achieve all of that but the real question is are they prepared to cut into their profit for trophies? or they rather protect the profit even if it means not winning as many trophies as they used to.
 
The Neymar situation should be pretty easy to investigate, right? There's a billion cameras, even without the mics some lip reading pro should be able to sort it out. I have a proposal. If Alvaro did call him a monkey, ban him for a year. If he didn't, ban Neymar for a year. Deal?

What are the odds of that? Again, there's like a billion cameras. If Disney can watch you masturbating at home with ease, it should be pretty easy to ask Neymar at which point the guy called him that and find an angle that allows you to see him use the word "mono". I watched the videos people are posting and honestly I don't see it. Lying about it would be pretty messed up.

You never know and that is the problem, especially with a case where everyone expected sever consequences you must make sure you made the right decision.
