I'm not sure if this is meant to be ironic or not, but considering who the F1 fanbase is this will absolutely be a popular move.

This isn't Nascar. Minus a few racists here and there, opposing the racially motivated police brutality in the US is pretty universally seen as a good thing.

The NFL players kneeling for the London game didn't get booed, for example.
