Not sure which image would be better for a closeup shot so here are the only three images I have of the guy.
I'll take the first. Thanks!Clipper said:Like this?
Or even closer?
Somebody already used that avatar. I don't know if it is still in use, but I have definitely seen someone on GAF using it.I H8 Memes said:

Oh my. Good to see that avatar again. : )I H8 Memes said:I asked him and he said it was ok to use it. Generous guy. Good looking too from what I hear.
The image you linked to already had a transparent background, so I just shrunk it to avatar dimensions:InVinoVeritas said:Can someone take the white background out of this pic so it's just Scree's head? I couldn't figure out how to do it... Thank you!

Typographenia said:Does using a url still work? I thought we had to upload from our computer.
Try just saving the image to your desktop and upload the image from your desktop onto GAF in your "edit avatar" section in the control panel.
Yeah, we can use URLs still. The custom avatar selection allows you to select your PC or the web as a source. If you select the web and enter a URL, the GAF avatar code will create a local copy of the image from the web. I guess abload might not have liked the request from the avatar code or something.Typographenia said:Does using a url still work? I thought we had to upload from our computer.

Yeah, transparency would be a bit hard. Here's two versions, one shrunk from the original resolution and one very slightly cropped one that is cropped and sharper due to it being a better resolution ratio (From 400*400 instead of 410*410).JaskoX1 said:Possible to get this to the correct size; also a reg. one and a transparent one? Wait, a transparent one w/out the black bg would be hard around the right ear.. hmm just a correct size if anyone can please.

Here you go:Syphon Filter said:Need this avatar, the whole thing if it doesn't look weird at the gaf size requirement.

do it

I did three for you. The first is cropped slightly to allow it to be full avatar height while still sharp, due to it being a better resolution for shringking. The second is thus slightly blurrier, but has all of the original height of the image. The third is a compromise missing two rows of background from the top, but is the same size as the second but less blurry. I recommend either the first or third.Syphon Filter said:Can you make it the same but with the background? It will look better and less jaggy.
