Crazy - it's like they literally took the cars from GT4 and ran them through the 5 engine. Upgraded my ass.

Sadder still is the fact that you'll be using these for most of the game.

on what planet? i'm not touching one of those. nor will i be taking pictures of them.

though that is a GT4 shot. it says so in the corner.

Not really. Actually, I think that any decent current gen racer has better cars modelling than GT5's standard cars for the simple reason that they are PS2 cars in HD. Look at the headlights for instance.

Forza's cars look like toys.. the lighting model is a couple of generations behind.

Has anyone taken a standard car in photomode yet? That should be amusing.

They never said they upgraded them. PD has been forthcoming with what they are. You don't have to use them if you don't want to, only cars in the used cars lots are standard.

I'm just glad the standard cars are only used cars.

Means I can easily avoid them. And to be honest, after using the same cars in GT3 and GT4, I've grown a little tired of the standard cars.

90% of the good cars in GT5 are premium.

I know it's a GT4 shot, but it's pretty obvious they left the models untouched in GT5.

The GT faithful implied as much. I guess running in higher resolution was considered an upgrade to them.

This is also a standard car, so wtf is happening? Either there's some LOD problems/glitch or PD did a shoddy job with the conversion of certain GT4 standard cars.

I guess uh forthcoming after the fact. :lol Yes that was bullshit indeed. Man, standard cars are what they are. I made my peace with it a really long time ago.

I think I'm going to be the only one on this board driving great to drive standard cars, cause they don't look pretty. Damn, I thought I was graphic whore and all. I'm slightly disappointed in my self actually...
Maybe I just got used it, after playing with the wii more and more this year.

If there's one thing in the Forza series that needs to be in GT5 it's none other than the GODLY LIVERY EDITOR. Had so much fun painting cars.

But its a stupid argument as there are cars GT has that are not in Forza and the other way around.

I don't care really, find a nicer shot in game then. I don't believe that's the best F3 representation myself. I was only quoting the said images.
