op_ivy said:you are loling @ that subaru pic!? really? i wasnt even posting it to "compete" with the gt5 pic, just to compliment it by saying they both look OUTSTANDING.
but to shrug it off with a wall of pics is stupid. it does look outstanding, nearing photorealistic. at least as good as anything on consoles, period.

F4 looks close to GT5, I agree.

Is it true there is no more Porsche in 4?

Unfortunately it wasn't. There was a ton of pixelization in the weather effects.PSYGN said:For me, one of the things that amazed me graphically in GT5 were the rainy night racing scenes and the snow rally course. It was so beautifully realistic. Now keep in mind these were scenes from the trailer so I don't know if it looked as polished as it did in the actual game (I don't own a PS3), but it was a tasty treat for the eyes.

I was joking.Dibbz said:Not sure if you're agreeing or not but yeah Forza is like twice as wide which is a huge deal for the Ring. Oh and the camber and elevation change is way off on Forza.
nib95 said:Are these real comparison shots? Honestly speaking I thought F4 would look a lot better than GT5 but based on these shots it seems GT5 still comfortably takes the lead.
I was going to talk about some of GT5's standard tracks as a negative, but from the shots above, both games apparently have their rough spots.
Also, I think GT5 nails materials and colours better, such as the matt finish of the Zonda R, F50 Red and the off white of the 350Z.
The difference is HUGE if Turn 10 is aiming for an actual sim model.Xun said:I was joking.
The difference is not even worth talking about in my opinion.

No challenge. Merely pointing out that FM4 looks amazing. I still believe that GT5 has something about it that gives it the edge but FM4 is by no means a slouch.GTP_Daverytimes said:Is that a challenge Saladine? cause am ready lol. Got to have mercy on the 56kers

FM4 is a big step in the right direction, but the lighting still looks way wrong.
Maybe FM5 will look like GT5.
It most certainly has. Some of those shots are awesome.saladine1 said:There's no doubting that FM4 has stepped up.

GT5 is still a much more attractive game.

But during gameplay GT5's still got it beat.

I have no problem with Forza. I would happily play both if it meant I could use my wheel and not have to purchase a separate one just for one game.kneePat said:And the GT5 loyalists so prevalent in this thread should at-least move across the aisle and try out Forza because at the end of the day the winner is the consumer when two games keep trying to one up each other. My first experience with racing sims was with Gran Turismo (which I loved) and for some reason each iteration has felt like a downgrade over the previous one recently whereas Forza has been just the opposite.

This Corvette looks very surprised. 00_00saladine1 said:
