Wow!! I guess kaz has found the secret sauce for veyron to reach 510+ km/hour with ease.

Did he find this in one of his everyday track sessions? Or it was discovered in the pd laboratory?

Most importantly, do the germans know about kaz's major breakthrough on their engine/chassis?

Fully tuned + unrealistic slipstream setting (its a toggle option).

In around 1:30 you can see one veyron accelerating from 460 to 510 in an acceleration fashion like it had 150km/h on the speedo.
At 510 he ...lets go so as to not run over the other veyron. Its like 460-510 in a few seconds.
No further comments... Gt5 ahead of its time confirmed ;pPp

Slipstream. You can see he's always on full throttle and never lets go. 515 was just the cars limit.

gt5 menus are too complex for me it seems. Can you point me to it?

Oh, and sound engineers of t10 in france, they probably are hiding because gt6 is coming to own their asses hehe

Lobby settings after choosing a track or the online lobby. Doesn't say realistic / unrealistic, says Weak/Strong

You can't change it on Aspec.

growing up, GT was where I raced. After dipping into forza with the sheer customization options, as well as custom liveries, I became instantly hooked, haven't put anywhere near as much time into any other racer :)

Every time I go into the Livery Editor on Forza, I just think to myself "I could be racing instead".

I think I just lack the patience lol.

Haha, same here. I do some small customizations, but mainly I just buy/download from people who make really good ones on the store.

I do remember making a british police car of a Ford Focus in Forza 2 though, took me hours. I earnt quite a bit simply buying in new Focuses and selling them with the paint job for triple the price. Great days :)

Some of the liveries these guys come up with is just amazing!

I don't know how they have the patience to do this. Me, I'm happy to slap on a manufacturer decal and call it a day.

I've never been a fan of any Hollywood, pop star, airbrushed or anime designs either. Race cars should have race liveries on them. Most of my cars have designs from H3rTz wherever available. I love that dude's work, and he always pumps them out for free.

One option I would absolutely LOVE in FM5 is the ability for AI cars to use liveries (and tunes) from your own library so that all cars on track look totally race-prepped, even in the lower classes. It really irks when watching replays of sub-R Class races and mine is the only liveried car out there.

That would be really awesome. Could have a 80's restricted cup with racing liveries from that era for instance.

Those liveries (?) look great. I hope GT6 has something like this.

I also hope GT5 takes a look at the feel and design of FORZA's UI. I swear all of the shit between races in GT5 is responsible for deflating half of the excitement I should be feeling. Elevator tunes, jazzy snore music and horrible, convoluted menus need to fucking go forever.

You might as well move on from GT if you expect this to ever go away. That's part of GT's style. It's why some view it as having a classy feel to it. Others view it like you as bring boring. But it's GT. And that's not going to change.

If they can put My Chemical Romance in the intro, they might as well change the menu music from jazz to dub-step.

Hopefully turn10 find a way to carry liveries across to the next gen forzas, right now you can carry them across from 3 all the way to horizon.

That's the US producers call, not PD's. PD sticks with Moon Over the Castle for the series in Japan. And i'd guess they don't like the idea of them changing the menu music as that's all done by composers that they hire.

Yup. Going though FM4 to GT5 to do some basic things is like going from 2010 to 1990 in seconds.

Playing it yesterday also reminds me how weird the brake system works too. And you still has no option to upgrade brakes right?

I've had every main GT game since 2 and the reason it only bothered me in GT5 was because the low key, "classy" music came with a slow and horrible to navigate maze of menus.
Its a racing game. Either make the menus feel quick, or the music give you the illusion that it is. I'm half bored by the time any race starts.

I guess it comes down to taste. I know some of the US/PAL GT1 menu music sounds very simple 90's electronic music now, but I thought it was good back then.

Being able to choose music is the easiest option though, so people can listen to what they like. I'm just sceptical to having jazz as default, it sounds very strange for something fast and upbeat like racing imo.

That's a remix of "Everything must go" (Manic Street preachers) done by The Chemical Brothers. It's a great remix, you can find the whole version on their remix cd "Brothers gonna work it out"
