But yeah, you're right. I would have liked another key fob, personally. Those things are cool. Stickers and a book aren't really blowing me away. Glad I got it for regular price at Amazon!

This is Microsoft. They WILL print more. Same thing happened to Fable 3 limited edition and it was back in stock a week later.

Thankfully, I have found a local place that will be carrying the LCE. There is a huge furniture/electronics retailer here in Omaha (NFM) that says it will be carrying it Tuesday. I guess I'll just try my luck at snagging one there.

Since my preorder fell through, though, if anyone doesn't want their BMW 1-M preorder car from Best Buy, I will gladly take it. I really want that car.

Was not expecting the unbelieveably high review scores. I'm not one to get too hung up on review scores but I do know it means a lot to the staff at TURN 10 that has been busting ass for years on this racing masterpiece. Congrats TURN 10 in my opinion you are the PREMIERE first party studio for Microsoft.

As far as GAF Car Club goes I'd love to get in. GT: UR BUS IS SHORT

Best Buy accidentally shipped my LCE standard instead of overnight. I now won't get Forza until the 14th or 17th.

Try and snag LCE elsewhere like WalMart on launch then when you get your copy from BEST BUY return it to WalMart(or store you bought from) for refund.

I actually wasn't too surprised. Check on Metacritic and no Forza has ever scored less than 90.

Anyways, I know I've said I've wanted to join, but it seems a lot of people are getting their tags in there early for the GAF car club, so I thought I should do the same just in case. I dont want to be left out! :(

As for the LCE, I figured I could get the regular edition and save $20 that can be applied towards a season pass(more cars for my money!). At least, thats what I told myself after I found out the LCE was sold out..........

Did it already ship? Sounds like they just saved themselves some money, while still being able to deliver it to you the next day.

EDIT: Monday's a Holiday too. I'm sure that could have something to do with it.

Though Amazon cannot change my LCE preorder to release day shipping, they have waived the charges for next day shipping.

You see the "3140" number, I'm not sure but that may be the latest image. As pictures get uploaded by you and anyone else with Forza 4, the value goes up by one. So to find your picture, just change the number. You will have to go through a bunch but you will find your other images. You will get some broken links, which I'm assuming are either the big shots that were uploaded or perhaps replays, who knows.

Hopefully by launch the site will be showing the rest of our pics. It seems to be updating because now I can see the achievements I have earned when I log into forzamotorsport.net.

Yeah, they couldn't do it for me either but they gave me a $10 gift certificate.

OK, San Diego GAF...

just spent some time with the speed wheel, and I am very, very impressed. Honestly, even after all the positive reviews I still didn't have high hopes, but I will definitely be using this instead of a controller.


I'm going to leave mine to try at the store this weekend, so if you want to give it a go on Forza 4, you're welcome to swing by. Or if you just want to Forza 4...

I hope this isn't too much 'advertising' but I know it's not easy to get hands-on time with this thing, and it really must be tried before putting money down on it.


Edit: If anyone comes in and it's not running on the Kinect system, but would also like to try that, just ask to move the disk over, and we will.

you guys really need to try older cars and muscle cars on a fanatec. They drive *nothing* like fm3.

Also...anyone with a wheel able to drive the Koeniggssseegggn CCGT around, say, indianapolis ? one clean lap ? i don't believe you.
That thing will kill you on the nearest wall.

So I bought a 4GB Kinect bundle with a 250gb HDD (cause I hate the glossy finish of the Elite unit) from Future Shop, and now Best Buy is offering a $100 gift card for the same xbox. I'm going to price match my purchase tomorrow,and then I'd have the LCE payed off and I'll be half of the cost ace combat too.

Shinn and Slayer, them shots are the most impressive I've seen from the game by a country mile! Can't help but see the 'eyes' on the camero though. Ha.

Finch, I've done your time in the Zonda (took me a while I think) get back on it ;)

Can't wait for next Friday and I'm gonna try my best to not visit this thread from tuesday. Gonna go instore and try and book he Friday off I think :)
