I think i must have put in over 100 laps on Nurburgring GP just to realize what kind of car suits my driving style best. I think the Viper GTS is going to lead to amazing times, however. We'll see what develops.

Just got myself a speed wheel and I'm trying to figure out how to configure the wheel properly. Is it supposed to see it as a normal MS wheel in the controller layout?

You don't need the disk provided your 360 is up to date. Start up FM4 with the Speed Wheel connected. If you switch to a controller at any point, you won't be able to get the Speed Wheel config back.NaughtyPrawn said:

So I was thinking about the DLC and the Season Pass pricing.
In F3, we got car packs of 10 cars for 400pts ($5). Now we have 10 cars for 560pts ($7). The Season Pass is 2400pts ($30) for 6 packs totaling 60 cars.
So for the price of 6 car packs in F3, we get the same price, termed as a discounted rate, in F4. Then we have to buy the cars in game. Sure it's easier to earn credits in 4 but buying three or four of these higher priced cars will usually clean most of us that aren't Auction House mavens or superstar painters.
There are some cars I'd love to have but I'm just not feeling this strategy and pricing right now. I'm gonna wait on any of the DLC, especially since I'm feeling that being a VIP is pretty worthless right now. It was cool to get bespoke liveried rare cars in F3. Seems like there are some out there for F4 as well, but I haven't gotten any of them nor have I or others here gotten any answers as to if/when we'd get them. What did I pay extra for then?
Either way, I hit level 50 last night, midway through Season 9 and I think I need a little break right now as I'm starting to tire of the grind and boring AI. Maybe I'll try to make some loot in Rivals mode.

I'd say its more like 3-5 tenths depending on how much you're lifting. Such a long straight afterwards means there's big gains to be had by increasing your exit speed.Spaceman Spiff said:

I'm happy with the cars being chosen, just not with the price point/amount of cars included per pack. Of course, everyone is allowed to enjoy the content they pay for. I'm using my right as a consumer to choose what I pay for.Seanspeed said:

I think my mistake has been sticking strictly to A-Class and lower with mostly racing in F200 races so I don't have to do them later. I think it's time to breakout my S700 rides and enjoy some speed to break the monotony.
One thing I hate with the event list though is how broken the whole blue/gray/green squares are. For example the Chevy Spark will light every World Championship up to R1 Class.
50M for the majority of the cars ? Seems high if you've excluded race cars and classics. I got the Collector title today (150 cars) and I've only won 7.3M. I'm sure if I was online, that number would be much higher though, especially with all the Rivals messages I have waiting...

Nah, wasn't talking about you. What something is 'worth' to somebody is completely subjective. If you dont like the prices and dont find a specific car pack worth the money, then thats nothing I can argue about.h3ro said:
For me, I only picked and chose car packs in Forza 3 based on if there was something I 'had to have'. I only bought three car packs, I think. But for Forza 4, there's so much more 'life' to these cars that I'm excited about any and everything I drive. Even the lower class cars really feel enjoyable and not just tediously slow(greater sense of speed in FM4helps massively).
I'm mainly referring to people who complain that a certain car pack 'sucks' or 'should have' included this/that or whatever, as if they were the only people who mattered and should be catered to.
And sorry for using 'these quotes' so god damn much. A bad habit I picked up as typed words dont always reflect the way I'd like for them to be expressed sometimes.

Don't kick me from the club, I have been side tracked by BF3. I will play this weekend. I also know a lot of you haven't been playing because I haven't received any invites all week long.
Don't know what it counts, that number is the one the game tells me. I think you're right, level and affinity bonuses probably aren't counted in that 7M figure as I'm level 74 and have maxed several manufacturers bonus wise (75K).

The AI still makes me laugh, it's just so fucking awful. I'm doing the Sunset track days rival event for money, but there must be a bunch of short buses in the track's parking lot.
