No news yet. Since there are other issues like the 0 credit bug as well I'd expect them to be addressed soon.

Ugh, multiplayer just isn't my thing in this game. I'm always coming in last or close to it. I can score consistently high up in the leaderboards in Rivals (I can usually get in the top 20-25%) and I'm a decent driver, but every race in multiplayer I just get wrecked in (not literally).

I'm thinking lag might have something to do with it. One race I was in last place out of like 16 players and was really struggling. Then something happens and I'm kicked from the game, but I'm still racing by myself. After that, the turns felt much better and I was able to finish the last lap in a much faster time.

I guess I'm just going to have to settle for Single Player or Rivals now, which is a shame, since I usually enjoy multiplayer games.

EDIT: Is there a way to find other less skilled players? I'd be nice to come out in the top half once or twice.

Dude, no offense, but top 25% wont cut it online. You need to be top 1 or 2% if you expect to be winning any races. You're actually not as 'decent' as you think.

Lag might hurt you, sure, but top 25% is not anywhere near competitive when it comes to line.

Again, no offense. Online is just a different beast than what many people expect. Many of us are pretty hardcore racing fans that live off this shit and others are just stupidly talented gamers that will make you feel stupid for feeling good about yourself and your abilities.

Great thing about this is that there's so much room for improvement. Forza is a series that is easy to pick up and play, but hard to master, as the cliche goes. Even when you think you're doing great, its probably possible to go several seconds faster per lap. Not trying to discourage you, just let you know that there's so much more to learn. The better you get, the more addictive it becomes in finding improvement in my experience. Keep at it bro.

Yea, check out the Lambo. In stock AWD form, its a beast, but with the RWD conversion, that 700hp turns the thing into some crazy monster from hell.

Between the Lambo and the Ferrari, I spent 1,400,000 credits. Well spent. Credits are so easy to come by now, I have no qualms about spending this sort of dough.

I'm definitely planning on getting the RS3 next. I've been wanting an A3 Audi, as its always been a car I've wanted in real-life, and this one is the best-looking one yet.

And then the Bel-Air, just cuz the muscle cars in this game are so alive.

I've put the game aside until they fix that stuff.

The counter-steering issue might be a bitch to debug, and I even have the feeling they might have to rewrite a good chunk of their physics code to address it, but the fact that they haven't patched something as trivial as the freaking no-rewards bug yet is simply unacceptable to me.

Unfortunately, I'm absolutely swamped for the rest of the weekend, so no Rivals fun for me, but it looks like I picked up the same cars as Seanspeed, lol:

The Aventador in matte black looks positively diabolical. I love the sound-- not as savage as the Murcie SV's but it's still quite thrilling past about 7500 rpm. It definitely likes the corners better than earlier V12 Lambos, and the TFT display is crazy, too.

I'm so glad the 458 GT is finally in the game. It's now my go-to R3/GT2 car, very neutral and balanced. I'm looking forward to someone making an Extreme Speed Motorsports/Tequila Patron livery for it.

Overall a great first DLC pack: everything from a Bel Air to an LMP1, with supercars, hot hatches, and that bitchin' Typhoon in between.

I blew 800k because apparently you can't paint the Aventador matte after you pick a glossy paint (bug?). Oh well now I can make an AWD tune and a RWD tune

Ha ha, fair enough. I'm really enjoying this game, so maybe I'll just stick to beating rivals and single player stuff then.

Rivals is a great way to learn and get XP and credits at the same time. You wont learn much driving against the AI since they're fuckin terribad. And you're likely to find many similarly skilled drivers in Rivals mode so you can feel rewarded for any small improvements you make. And thats how it goes. You wont be jumping from novice to pro in quick-time. Race against other people's ghosts in Rivals mode and you'll learn to get better while also making money and gaining career XP at the same.

The main key to being able to do well online is to be able to put in consistent laps throughout a whole race. You cant afford to make a bunch of mistakes. So even if you aren't really fast, drive conservatively and avoid going off-track and hitting others and you'll probably still nab a few podiums here and there. This still involves a good amount of track knowledge, which only experience will gain you. So again, keep at it. Its super fun once you really know your way around a track.

Yeah, I learned this with the Maserati GranTurismo S and made sure to get the Lambo in matte. You can repaint from matte to gloss, but not the other way around. Weird.

I believe the 458 GT would be in the 'Modern GT2' selection at level 38.

That's no doubt awesome for those that got them Jube, but is there any word yet about the pre-order FM4-liveried bonus cars? The silence is deafening from Turn 10 on this topic. Other cars have priority atm. There is a tiny chance but the reality tends for it to be rather in FM5 than FM4 DLC.
