Forza 4 |OT| Where Porsche Are Driven

You know what. All the more talk of Forza 5 and the impending release of Horizon, I have to ask myself the question whether I'd actually want spahurst in Forza 4 or a more fresh feeling for Forza 5. Would I rather 4/5 new locations for 5, or 2/3 with the previous 2 (if we were lucky) already released for Forza 4.

Despite the DLC situation with FM3, I'm still incredibly surprised that we've only seen one track pack FM4 in total (now that another game is coming up and priorities are clearly focused elsewhere). You'd really think they'd learn after all the pleading from their audience over the last TWO games. Well, at least a certain other game got Spa :/

Just got the Meguire's pack. Immediately checked out the C63.

Looks like you can remove the stock wing, but it doesn't take the winglets with it. A car without Aero package would have a lip spoiler and no winglets. But it's cool, at least they gave us the option of ditching the wing. :D

Is there not a bumper option to remove them?

lol, Wiswell has captured the Beetle's 'unique' sounds very well. Oh, and you can put a roof rack on the Beetle as well lol...awesome!
The Yellowbird sounds great too with it's awesome spooling and bov..

Fuck, so MANY cars, so little
tracks
time...

From BADNED

Regarding new manufacturers

There are still a few waiting on their introduction to the FM series in FM4.

Regarding Holden

ATM it is just a (Holden) V8S (supercar) and HSV license but for the future they are working on a full blown Holden license, that is all I can tell.
HDT!!!????-----MONARO's TORANA's COMMODORE's???!!?? FUCK YEAH--

Damn, finished up for the night, otherwise I'd probably grab the Meguiars pack..

Tomorrow is another day.

Awesome pic, U n i o n 0015, sooooo nice.

Any ideas how many montly packs we will get. If Horizon comes out in October, it is safe to guess T10 will supply packs through September then start supporting Horizon? Or is it possible that FM4 and Horizon are similar enough that any cars built for Horizon will be ported to FM4?

We've traditionally never gotten DLC past a year of the game's life, so around Sep/Oct would be a realistic time to expect DLC to stop, but it wouldn't be because of Horizon. Turn 10 is a different developer. Playground Games will have the job of 'supporting' Horizon after its release while Turn 10 will remain at work on FM5. The car packs are probably only worked on by a smaller group of people.

Any options for the Ford? Or any Baja Bug options? And what about the Celica, any rally options?

I went straight for the C63 BS before work, so I didn't check, but apparently there's a thread on the official forums showing a FULL rally setup for the Celica. There's a roof rack for the Beetle and some body options for the Ford.

Here it is.

WTF at that toyota, we getting body parts or something?

I'm glad to be playing this game again, I did not give it enough love at launch.

Direct capture from a replay, game looks so good.

OMG, DAT Celica rally kit !

Wrong, the CCCCP came out more than one year after FM3's initial release. ;)

BTW, BADNED recently said that we had just gotten warm in term of DLC. We've already got more DLC cars than FM3 ever got (granted, the PEP inflates this but sill), yet there are still some TBA cars on his list.

I have a feeling future FM4 DLC packs will be similar to the Meguiar's one, lots of classics and few 2011/2012 cars. It would make sense to keep the new stuff (F12 Berlinetta, Karma, etc...) for a new game to avoid the déjà-vu feeling.

Edit :

In DLCs, Turn 10 has been adding more and more incredible OEM upgrades.
Some example : Pikes Peak kit for the Quattro S1, racing kit with huge lamps for the 300 SEL, sleeper (aka A5 and A3) kits on the RS5 and RS3, etc...

Not that there was much of a chance it wouldn't be, but the C6.R GT is a great R3.

Puts the power down well, with no handling vices, save for some mild understeer that's easily correctable. Probably the most usable GT cockpit, too, thanks to that rearview monitor. You can have the other 9 cars back, T10, I only want this one. :)

Just waiting for the new Rivals events to go up. From what I gather, the C6.R GT will replace the ALMS Road America event with the GT1 'Vette. That was a good one.

Roof Rack option

Forza131.jpg

Does it provide downforce or just add drag and weight xD

Love how varied the car selection is getting. Not long ago it felt like 99% of the cars were 90's and 00's. Remember thinking how awesome the Datsun was in FM3 because it was the first car in a Forza game with less than 100hp :p

Can someone list what extra car parts are in each dlc pack? It's good to see that dlc is more then just cars then because I don't buy them because I already have enough to drive as it is (currently playing around with stock road cars in E and F class)

I'm really on the fence about this car pack. Seriously thinking this one over. My loyalty to the franchise is telling me to invest in it......But........my gut is telling me the July DLC will be better to hold off for......possibly some home-territory lovin' given it's our country's birthday.

Edit: Yea, that shit didn't take long to decide. Come on, C6.R!

Can't wait to grab this pack when I get home. So many awesome cars. I know a lot of people aren't very happy with some of these packs but you gotta give T10 credit for having an incredible variety in their car selections.

Fair warning, bro. Dat Yellowbird is extremely difficult to drive stock around the 'Ring. Brake early and control your acceleration or prepare to inadvertently drift! lol

i post plenty of positive stuff about forza games, its just they get ignored, as soon as i say something bad the fanboys go wild! its funny

We get it you hate Microsoft, you dislike Forza and anything related to it. My question is why are you still in here. You are just here to troll and make everyone else miserable who other wise enjoying the game and this forum.

Is THAT the strange sound this car makes? It sounds pretty cool when it revs all the way up. Admittedly, I have no knowledge of this car. I just know it's iconic for speed during its time....or something. -__-

Actually, as far as I can tell they don't actually model the BOV right. The sound you are hearing is the whine of the turbo at high RPM. I am kind of disappointed by the lack of the "chirping" BOV, but the car still sounds magnificent at WOT. Plus this car should be in the dictionary under "turbo lag." Nothing, nothing, nothing, TOP POWER, tree.

Been watching some Wheeler Dealers today and it would be awesome to see the Renault Alpine or Jensen Interceptor in Forza. Especially the Jensen with that 7.2L Chrysler motor!

Yay!

Managed to get my storefront working again!

I somehow got in to delete photos one by one by clicking remove and waiting a few seconds after the "failed to retrieve" message appeared.

It seems like it still loads what you have selected a for a while in the background even when it displays the error message.

Once I got it down to 25 photos out of 30, it stayed in the photos screen!

Woo hoo!

I apologise for posting here do much regarding it, I am glad it's sorted now though.
