Nice, for those that don't have the DLC.
Just a heads up,
The Forza 4 Season Pass is half price for one day - 1200msp (previously 2400)
It will go back to full price about 20 hours after this post.
They must be getting ready to release the FM4 Ultimate Collection soon (I guess as soon as DLC is halted)?

October is not the right month for an Ultimate Edition!Mascot has a point, October will no doubt be the time for T10 to release a F.U.C edition al a FM3, as by then the current game will have been out roughly a year.
October is not the right month for an Ultimate Edition!
When then? December?

BTW regarding special editions, the FM4 Essentials Edition will be packed in a 360 bundle this Holiday. It is a stripped down version of FM4 featuring only 320 cars. It is meant as an appetizer for those who are new to the FM world.
Seems a bit pointless. You can buy a brand-new copy of the full game for £12.BTW regarding special editions, the FM4 Essentials Edition will be packed in a 360 bundle this Holiday. I bought it. $20 was hard to swallow considering the lack of new cars, but for $10, it was hard to pass up.porsche pack is 800 fuckbucks right now. worth it?
Right....Seems a bit pointless. You can buy a brand-new copy of the full game for £12.
It will be bundeled with a 250GB 360 and a download code for Skyrim....
Right....
Maybe it'll be bundled with the 4GB 360 so there's pretty much no room for all the Disc 2 stuff?

My car is planted as can be. I haven't really done much to it tuning-wise other than basic gearing/camber/ride height changes so far. Perhaps its your build?Such a twitchy little bitch that thing.
I ended having to lower front end grip to make it drivable for me. Too bad I can't tune well enough to increase rear grip because it would be amazing then

Actually, it's my reading lol.
I read it as "GT3 RSR", the normal GT3 RS is very good with just a standard tune.
The Corvette has a fantastic body kit.
Love the Alfa. Have no idea why you'd put the 8C's V8 in when you can get the little 2L one well over 10,000 RPM. So good.

Yep, the Alfa's engine sounds so good at 10k rpm.
We all know what would keep fm4 going for another year. Shame Dan doesn't.
Dan works for company that is apparently ready to release its 3rd consecutive hardware without HID/USB support thus again hurting potential performance and sales for all its racing franchises (and third party driving games with FFB wheel HID support) on the global saturation level just to retain its stupid BIOS policies of "one-user-per-input-device" and some money they earn from moneyhatting 3rd party hardware manufacturers.
I sincerely propose you to expect nothing.
If you'll pardon the pun, it's all about control. As far as I can tell, it is just MS being obtuse as there doesn't seem to be any logical reason why they would continue to do this.

Unfortunately I think the FM4 DLC template (cars, cars and more cars) has been a commercial success, so I can't see MS changing anything for FM5. I fully expect a season pass, monthly cars and no tracks for the next Forza. We know what it is missing; tracks and track variation. So now that T10 has opened the flood gates with cars they need to do this with tracks for FM5. It's going to be tough because how many cars do they hold back from the retail game? how many car DLC will they release for 5? how many tracks at retail and how many track DLC?
Game with T10 in about 30 minutes. They decided to announce it last night at 2 AM.
Already won a DLC code, mate.
You are using clutch with a Controller Sarbear? I've tried (with regular controller) and it made me an even worst driver.
The QA on the Porsche Pack is quite poor. Loads of typos and spelling mistakes. Also for fellow GAFfers with the Porsche DLC I don't know if it was mentioned before but in the Porsche 911 Turbe (997) Spec Series there are 4 Races but it only show 3. If you beat them all you'll get 4/3. Is this normal?
Here is a picture:
Maybe it's just me but I found it odd.

You are putting the clutch on A, right?
Last time I tried with the clutch was some time ago so I don't remember, but I used the default controls.
Q:You folks who have been playing since October, have you collected all of them?
I don't know anyone that uses the default LB clutch. Really awkward for downshifts.
Nope. Have some (5?) of them, I don't feel I am missing out on anything. Wouldn't mind the M3 GTR homologation special.
Questions: Is an XID device compatible with an HID USB port/controller? Also, what would prevent them from having a dedicated XID port and then make the rest HID?
On the PC or PS3 FF effects are created in the console and the console only sends out Force commands to the motor (left, right and how strong). This consumes some CPU power. Therefore MS decided to put a lot of pre-defined FF commands into the IC of the wheel and the console sends something like ("play FF effect #24" = "shaking while driving over rough surface").

I also been in some random Online matches and I can't believe how bad luck I have it there. Like I said before I don't mind last place since it's about the fun but I always, always race clean but my opponents must think they are driving Tanks and the objective here is to put everyone on Grass and Sand. Ugh.

Couldn't they just expand the API for the next xbox to make FFB better?
