Hot-damn I was tempted to pick up F3 after learning GT5 isn't the game for me.
My racing wheel damn exploded last night playing NFS:Hot Pursuit and finding a new replacement aint gonna be easy - at least not by retail.
I recently bought a blandtacular new Ford Focus but kinda wanna recreate it in F3!

Sorry if this has been asked 30 gazillion times already, but whats a good wheel to get for Forza 3? Couldn't really find anything by browsing through Amazon.
I'm looking for something that would work on a lap, or at worst on my coffee table in the living room. Don't have the money or space for a full-on setup.
I heard about a Fanatec wheel but couldn't find it. Same deal with the MS wheel.
GT5 isnt the game for me either, but the dualshock seemed to work great. The 360 controller in Forza 3 just isn't tuned well enough to make subtle curves and adjustments. Once you get past the dead zone on the stick even the slightest pressure pushes the car too much, so in replays my car looks like its being driven by a drunk - which is only true some of the time ;P

OK wow. There's no way I'm shelling out that kind of cash for a game peripheral. I was honestly hoping for some kind of casual solution, but looks instead like I'm SOL.
With Forza 3 there is a deadzone, then if you apply even the slightest pressure your car will lurch, and then *after* that point you can make subtle adjustments, like trying to hold the line during a long curve.
With the dualshock in GT5 it feels like there isn't a deadzone. You apply slight pressure and you get a slight result. So its easy for me to handle cars at speed in GT5 because my car will only lurch if I want it to.
So while Forza is the better overall game for me than GT5, the controller is whats keeping me from truly enjoying it. If its that or spend a serious wad of cash on a wheel I may just have to make due with GT5.

I also had a question about changing the cockpit view settings so Im sitting further back. Ive had this game since launch poured hours and hours into it without knowing this can be done. Now I know it can be done though, I cant figure out how the hell to change it.

I don't think so. BADNED hinted at some cars that aren't in this pack (Syclone and 635csi) and we've seen a photo of a laser scanning of the Mitsubishi Starion. Add to that the files found on the UC dvd and there could be up to two more packs.
All of this is speculation though...

If I had to guess, I'd say that we'll get one 2010/2011 car pack and one or two classic car pack before Forza 4 is released. If they drop those car pack every two month, it would get us around june which magically is around the same time as E3 where Forza 4 will probably be unveiled...
