From what I've seen of Forza 4 so far, they've made massive strides to fix the lighting and the overall sensation that your car is actually planted on the asphalt and not hovering above it. Those are the two biggest problems I had with Forza 3. Coming from a Gran Turismo fanatic, Forza 4 looks like it has what it takes to become the sim racer of this generation. GT5 started out amazing, but a lack of additional content (those BS extra races don't count) has really put a damper on things for me.
My Xbox 360 is on order. I'll be getting a copy of Forza 4 on day one. I can't wait.

By the way, does anyone know why the two chase cams are so similar (almost identical) in Forza games? One is ever-so-slightly higher and further back than the other but the difference is so small it hardly seems worth it. I play cockpit view now but I've always wondered this about the chase cam. Seems pointless to have two views that are pretty much the same.

I only ever play in hood or cockpit view but I distinctly remember GT4 prologue (Jap version) having an awesome chase cam that they got rid of for the final game for some reason. It basically had you very low and right behind the car which was great imo..

I know a couple of people here are thinking of building 3-screen rigs, and there's a custom-built one for sale on eBay that uses a real Subaru STi seat and comes with a gaming PC and G25 wheel. Actually he has seven of them for sale (they were used as training simulators, apparently) and reckons they cost £2,600 each to build. Looks like one could be nabbed for £800 (or if he's got seven to offload he might be receptive to a cheeky offer).
Might be worth a look - the G25 and PC could be sold to offset the cost, so this could be a much cheaper and easier option than building your own.

Turn 10 i would do anything for you guys if you put a XR6T or F6 310 Falcon in Forza 4!@ as an Aussie who hates Holdens it would be awesome to have SS commodores vs XR6Ts! (Although it wouldn't be much of a race considering an XR6T Kills an SS

The only memorable car Ford gave us was the XY GT Falcon. Holden gave us a bunch of memorable classics and also gave us HDT and the late Great Peter Brock!
Edit: Don't get me wrong though, I love all things muscle so all Falcons are more than welcome TO BE IN THE GAME FFS!
Turn 10 should see how passionate we are about our cars and car/racing culture in general. It would make for an epic battle between Ford and Holden road cars,(and between the Yanks as well for that matter) if they were featured in the game. I just want to know what would it take to Twist Turn 10's arm to make it happen?
