I think that like a lot of people here, I WAS very excited about Autovista...
...until they announced it was ony available for a LIMITED numbers of cars.
Now that I know that, I don't really care much about Autovista anymore, its just a bonus bling feature in my opinion.....................................
(but I do understand the amount of work that would be required to include ALL cars in Autovista, 2 years of development and 2 DVD's wouldn't have been enough)

I just don't understand the GT/Forza stuff. It comes across as possibly the most idiotic thing to argue about in gaming. I love both games, they are both amazing racing games. I prefer certain aspects of GT and I prefer certain parts of Forza and I would never want them to try to be like each other all the time. The differences in the games is what makes them so interesting as the people behind both games obviously have different focuses.

I spent a good few hundred hours on GT5, loved the shit out of it, even it's flaws didn't quite diminish my enjoyment and I'm sure the lack of weather and night racing won't stop me from playing the shit out of F4.
But I do believe T10 have got there priorities mixed up, and Autovista should be right at the bottom of the pile, because lets be honest what exactly does it add to the core driving experience?

While I know that they are completely passionate about their work this isn't a charity, it's a business and they need to sell for MS. What they have done to get taken seriously and get mentioned in the same breath as a behemoth franchise the likes of the GT series is astounding.
I bet you'll enjoy the game a ton once you get it.

i think autovista is a nice addition too but i guarantee if they skipped that they could have added night and whether, and maybe more tracks ffs.
