NO REPLAY AT THE END IS CRIMINAL!!!!!!! because that first race was more epic then anything I have ever had in forza to this day.
Ok so first impressions, my jaw was on the floor staring at that scooby, fucking damn son!
Turned everything on to EXPERT except gears, dropped it down to manual without clutch.
About 30 seconds to load.
Race started, oh man racing with 12 cars is a huge improvement already, the car's grip will also drop very quickly after breaking the tires, locking wheels will make you stop turning and slide off into the barrier easy enough at speed, touching an AI car will mess you up this time too, no wall riding here at all.

Looks really, really good in-game. Environment looks better than FM3, but it's hard to tell exactly how much without a like-for-like track.
Engines sound AMAZING.
Cars just feel right... and that's with a few of the assists on that I'll later be turning off. This was "normal" steering, but that's the middle option. there's also assisted and simulation. I'm scared of simulation, TBH.
Can't turn in-game music down/off in demo. Can't hear the cars as well as I'd like
Rivals mode will be my bitch. Or I will be it's bitch. Either way, it will be as addictive as score chasing in Geo Wars 2. Very nicely implemented.
This feels like the first in-car view that is actually driveable. I've always been a bumper/hood guy but I can see myself sticking with in-car.
Sense of speed in bumper and hood-cam is off the fucking hook. No idea how it was done, but no weird/tricky blur or shaky effects to make it seem faster than it is, you literally almost feel like you're flying in the 458. Unfortunately, that sensation isn't quite carried over to in-car, but perhaps that's just not possible without feeling like you're 2 inches from the asphalt.
30fps mirrors, but hardly noticeable.
I'm in love with this game already. All the minor, little glitches that others (and myself) have harped on about in the official thread have become insignificant now.

Rivals mode will be epic, and currently 9th in the world with the zonda 
that's under all sim settings too (aka everything set to off and steering on sim)
You can feel the zondas grip at speed and the downforce it carries, will understeer on some corners where the track is uneven or under strong braking.
Game is really well done and the demo shows this to me, looks great!

I will play more in the morning, its 1am here so my speakers have to stay low but the engine noise for what I can hear is already an improvement.
Annoying that you need to have like half a clean lap before the next one is also registered clean, PITA for the traffic overtaking rival races.

As a pad user i'm not sure what is different, i'm guessing removal of active auto steering as while trying to recover from a mild slide I suddenly launched the other way into a wild spin, something which NEVER happened in forza 3 for me, ever.BCD2 said:

Play this game all sim otherwise you might as well be watching
porn instead of trying to race, the game feels really good when you have complete control and have to risk things like speed and late braking.
