On a side note, anyone here who played NFS2? Just wondering because it had the GT90 and Indigo (as well as the Nazca C2).
I really, really enjoyed NFS2. The car selection was wildly exotic for me (Italdesign? Who the hell are they? lulz) and you could actually learn a lot about the cars, too. Thinking about it now, Autovista reminds me a LOT of the early NFS games where you could look at pictures of the car and listen to the narrator talk about the history and specs on the car. I don't recall a game in-between Forza 4 and NFS2 that did that (at least, well). Anyone else think this?

GT5 kind of counts I guess, but having a news ticker while the in-game car drives around the track is hardly informative or entertaining.

The showcase videos also made up for the bad graphics though the editing is super cheesy. Was hit by a lot of nostalgia when I played the new Hot Pursuit and found out it also had showcase videos :D

Know many don't like them, but it also had relaxing electronic menu music made by one guy (Rom Di Prisco), again just like Forza 3 and 4.

Fuck, there should be a special race/series/event in Forza 4 that's purely concept. We already have the Joss which is *kind* of a concept, but I'd kill to get the GT90 and even the Indigo included!

You can't say that's not fucking BOSS.
That looks a bit too crazy for my taste, but it could be fun to drive.

I'll join the concept train with this:

Could be because I love early 90's design, but I think it looks so badass, made by Italdesign for BMW hence the kidney grille.

I really like this one. Probably because it looks nothing like BMW would build. :lol

I'll wait for the Steam version. Its coming, right?
Sorry, GFWL exclusive.

i was banned in the GT5 thread for "trolling" when all i was doing was pointing out negatives in the game is that not allowed? i admit i went overboard sometimes but i am a better user now

i have both positive and negative things to say about forza and GT, both are great series though
Fender_Uk said:
i was a part of that uproar too, i got banned on forza central for it haha

Hmm a pattern I do see.

Xanadu said:
sure, i voice my opinion a lot, if i dont like something i will say it, same goes for positives
A lot of people voice their opinions here without getting banned. You however seem to have a track record and while claiming to be a better poster calling everyone a fan boy who takes issue with what you say says otherwise. But enjoy your current stay how ever long or short it is.

ALMS, Forza Join Forces:

ALMS, FORZA JOIN FORCES — Turn 10 Studios, creators of the best-rated “Forza Motorsport” video game franchise, and the American Le Mans Series will partner across a range of events and content celebrating the famed racing series as well as the launch of “Forza Motorsport 4” on Oct. 11, exclusively on Xbox 360.

As the official racing game partner of the American Le Mans Series, “Forza Motorsport 4” will provide the “Forza Motorsport” community with unrivaled access to one of the top professional racing series, including realistic in-game tracks and cars. Additionally fans of the American Le Mans Series will have the opportunity to test drive “Forza Motorsport 4” at select race events before it launches in October.

As a fan of the ALMS, it's been great following the season with the ESPN3.com streaming over XBL. Glad to see the series getting some more exposure with Forza.

Mid-Ohio is this weekend. Perhaps we'll get some new media?

haha because as soon as i say something negative i get a called a fanboy just because i'm not praising everything through the roof like real fanboys here, they cant take criticism of their beloved game

Saying something negative and trolling are 2 separate things. It is possible to be critical without getting banned.

I really can't see ALMS without Porsche heh

...and I'm just guessing that we won't see all of the tracks either. I love some Forza, I really do, but Turn 10 is stingy with tracks and track DLC. I'd be really surprised to see any ALMS track they don't already have.
Who knows though, hopefully they'll prove me wrong.

PGR3 and 4 had all these crazy supercar concepts. A tiny part of what made these games so amazing, indeed. I'd love to see these cars in Forza 4 as well, they were crayzay!

Another weird, but brilliantly driving one:

While they look nothing alike, the odd body and the paint finish reminded me of the CTR3:

While on the subject of RUF, heres Alois Ruf talking about the RGT's V8 engine:

I would've loved to hear more, but he got cut off :/

Sadly, I agree with this.

We've already got 4 tracks on the ALMS calendar, and I'd love to see Long Beach and Mosport, even as DLC.

New cars are a given, though. I can't wait to drive the GT2 C6.Rs and 458s.

Dan: "We have an agreement with ALMS!"
Turn10 Team: "Yay!"
Dan: "Let's show a FM4 demo with ALMS Tracks and Cars! "
Turn10 Team: "..."
Dan: "Let's show FM3!"

lol it's FM3 laguna. The last turn to be more specific.
Now I remember. That horrible bloom :(

Hasn't that bumpy (forgot the name) American race track also got the same problem in the last corner?

Look at the HUD, then this.
Cockpit of course looks great, but does anyone have any footage of driving a car in Forza 4 in third person? I'm generally curious how it looks because I've seen nothing so far.

There's a lot of footage from E3.

Some of you guys have really good taste here!

In cars and games if you mentioned PGR3 and PGR4!
Well, part of Forza-Age is Car-Age. Of course some of us have good taste. :p Now go back and revive your car porn thread, pls.

This one was my favourite :D
I just love the presentation of the first few NFS games, though... I don't know whether they influenced anyone at Turn 10, but it does feel like it. Watch that video from the start to see what I mean.
