Nintendo Europe on their site promise a release in 2006 though. Of course, we all remember N64, but we learnt more about that launch period at GDC. According to a French developer, the console should launch next November, and this developer will release two games during that launch period.

The N64 part alludes to all the delays, and it implies that maybe we shouldn't trust NoE even though their site claims a 2006 release.

"Cinquième roue du carosse" is an expression which means "the thing no one cares about". It refers to Europe here.
