Going on vacation as a kid with my family to Old Orchard, Wildwood or Cape Cod my mom would always force me to wear a t-shirt to go in the ocean.
I didn't want to look like a pussy so I'd get rid of it and soon after I would be lobster red.

Then spend the next 2 days watching TV in the motel room covered in Nivea cream

I also remember riding the small waves on my tummy with a mini styrofoam surfboard.
My aunt Lise was close by (She was a hot nurse).
As I'm walking towards the beach to take a break she gets hit in the back by a big wave and her dentures pop out.
She's laughing and scrambling to get them back as we're all standing with our mouths open.
She puts them back in, looks at us and says "Oh my that was wild! WHAT!?"

The wave had also taken out her bikini top
