If I could just equip perks for counselors or additional kills for Jason without having to alt+f4 because the game won't save my profile, I'd be significantly less annoyed. :(

^What this dude said. The fun of hopping into a private match is matched with the stress of not knowing if you're gonna get kicked before the game or criticized for lag like in the old SOcom games.

Thanks. It would really suck to get kicked because someone else rage quits. I hope they fix the matchmaking sooner rather than later. They really should have bumped the release by another fix months and released around Halloween.

I got all of the car parts needed, and when I get in to start it, the game bugs out on me and gets stuck on the scoreboard. Then Jason showed up and killed me.

*sigh*

When the stars align where the game doesn't bug out and everyone has a mic then it's fun to play. I would've liked to have seen this wait for an October release and have the single player finished, and bugs fixed.

My favorite game so far: We call the cops early and they're here. Four of us team up and get to the exit, but we decide to wait for Jason to beat him down before we leave for some experience. We have weapons and firecrackers, and we're circling Jason popping off on him. Tommy Jarvis takes aim with his shotgun... but Jason dodges it. The shot misses and somehow kills two of us. Hilarity ensues. Luckily I escaped along with the shooter. I couldn't stop laughing, it was so good.

Protip: Combat stance is very underutilized. Dodge is a thing in the game which Jason used quite well there. He can also block any physical attack. Counselors can also mitigate damage and dodge grabs. It's all about timing.

As Jason, I'll teleported right in front of an escaping car, and heard everyone panicking. But I wasnt able to destroy the car. Passenger gers out and shoots me and it moves me out of the way. They escape. Is there a context button to break the car?

Since I have an insane amount of hours I could chime in.

This is on PC version.

Leveling system is broken and you can't buy perks. Supposedly this is all saved somewhere else and we'll get the levels and whatnot that we've been grinding. Pretty inexcusable, but I sort of believe them since I've seen my level at zero many of times, and it goes back to what it should be.

Matchmaking takes 5-15 seconds for me. Very fast, and in a party of 4 or 5 it takes the same. I've never had to wait more than 30 seconds, at all times of night. Usually it's much quicker.

Never experienced the car/boat thing where you can't get in. I have over 30 hours played, neither has my friend.

The attacking is wonky for sure. I feel like Jason has more range than what he really should when he goes for a grab. I have hit jason a lot though, more times than not, it connects when I aim properly. Other times Jason just grabs me mid-swing. Have never had the issue with Jason not being able to grab, neither has my friend. We have combined 75 hours.

Imo, the biggest issues are server and leveling problems which are also tied to server issues. Maybe some of the other stuff is server-side too.

when someone invites me to a private game I go into the invitation and it links me to the store to buy the game again what the hell is up with that please help somebody????

Who ever was throwing me invites on Xbox earlier I'm sorry I couldn't take them. I will be hosting some private matches tonight with 4 of my buddies and need to fill the room. They know jack about what to do so it should be pretty noob friendly. Gamer tag is quickwhips on Xbox if you want invites about 9pm eastern time to fill empty spots.

looks the the PC version is playable ( apart from the Servers\progression issues)

i really hope they fix the problems on PS4, i love the game, i always wanted a hide and seek game and this game scratches that itch, but it need to work properly

They really got to do something about people idle/afk'ing in a house until the end of a match.

Jason can't see them, nothing is less fun then having everyone killed or escaped and you have ONe person alive but they are just sitting afk in a house and thus don't show any sound bubble or anything so you have 0 indication of where they are at and just wander around aimlessly until the time runs out.

Erm, the people in houses are the easiest to find? Houses appear red using sense if someone is in it.

It shows the whole house Red if someone is in there. Also if your the last one with no escape routes you should just hide.

Yeah but when there's like 20+ cabins and houses on the map and you have to warp to each one and also have sense up to use it......gets a bit tiring and boring.

With morph and shift it takes less than 2 minutes to check out the cabins though. Seriously. Hiding in a cabin at the end of a game is a death sentence.

Err what? How do you check them that fast? On a large map with like 20 cabins or so combined with the cooldown on sense (using part 7 Jason, not sure of the exact cd on it) it seems like it'd take a lot longer then that to check every single cabin with sense.

You have to just scan the area with sense, don't focus on a cabin at a time unless you have good reason to go there. The counsellors also gradually gain fear if you're smashing stuff up around them too. One slip-up with their breathing while you activate sense = they've been spotted. Campers ability to hide towards the end is their last defence, so they definitely can't make it more difficult to last that way. It's already hard enough as it is.

When the game works, it's amazing and one of my top 10 of the year. When it works...Which is about 1 game in 10 right now. Disconnections, glitches, 10 minutes to find a session...Thing feels cobbled together with duct tape. Hell I got kicked for idling...while spectating after escaping.

I give them a huge amount of credit so far though. Multiplayer only game with a team as small as they are supposedly are, I'm impressed I have been able to play it fairly consistently for 20+ hours at this point. I'm aware the console release has been borked, but my experience on steam has been alright.

Hah! Was running to cops and had Pamela's sweater on. Jason warped behind me ready to do dark work when I used the sweater's special ability to stun him by chastising him! I then whacked him with my axe, he grabbed me, and I stabbed him in the neck with my knife! I then made it to the cops! 1,200 points!

That was an exciting damned run!

Been getting this since early morning yesterday. It's sad. I'm not one to really complain about refunds, but it might be that time. I'm on PC by the way. My friend and I have only been able to play twice since Friday late night when it unlocked.

I'm on Ps4....so no refunds :/

Is there a timer? I'm not seeing a timer when I watch other players. How long does a round last?

You guys complaining about AFK'ers or other matchmaking issues just need to play private matches. There is absolutely no reason you shouldn't. I don't know how PC or Xbox are, but It's really easy to find people on PS4 via communities.

I play back to back great games, no issues, because of this.

20-30 mintues to finally join a session. No levelling up, no perk rolls, saving to database doesn't work. Just crashed out of a session for no reason.
Most buggy game I have played on PS4 so far.

i encountered yet another game breaking glitch, i was playing as Jason and someone was hiding in the closet, of course i went there to kill him, but guess what, i can't press X to kill him, no matter how much i press X, nothing happens, tried to hit the closet with R2, nothing happens, this game is a complete piece of shit

Other than not receiving any progress on my XP bar, I've been playing all day on PS4 without any issues. Only had the host (Jason) quit once and that was it.

Killing it with Deborah just roaming around the camps fixing shit. Even if I'm not escaping at least my teammates will have an easier chance to.

This all day session is how I envisioned playing ot this weekend. Now fix the XP because I would finally be closer to having the level 20 Jason unlocked by now.
