Was playing in a full party with a female and one of the guys in the party was harassing her. I told him to knock that shit off, the party host also told him the same or he'll get booted. Dude apologized and we carried on. Reminds me why I hate non party chat at times. If you hear someone getting harassed during a game stick up for them.

Had a really great session today, played several games, as Jason killed everyone, as a counselor I escaped maybe 5 out of 6 times. Starting to get a lot better at the game now.
You must be Chad Kensington. I need your luck.
My god, one of the counsellors decided to screw over another one by opening the door to a building they were both in and hide near the doorway to go get the other one in view. The one in view was the host though, who rage quit.

Fixing the game for everyone is priority, but still wonder what the plans are for this outside of the offline mode with bots. What can they add to keep things interesting in the game.
I mean, hope for possibly them adding in more Jason's, like Part 4 and 5 being needed. Maybe even Jason X for fun in the far future. Maybe some more hero characters besides Tommy from the lore? New kills, new weapons, etc. More Maps of course

I'm sure they are already thinking of new stuff for the down the line. The space ship from Jason X was a stretch goal on the kickstarter, so wouldnt be surprised to see Jason X and that map come.
They could also do either a manhattan map or the boat from Part 8.
Part 5 Jason and Pinehurst map I would imagine would come eventually.
Apparently Tina from part 7 they have said they aren't going to do, but I think eventually she will be added, they will find a way to make it work, and they need to add more variety to the game so I imagine she would come eventually.
They could also add those bikers from Part 3.

I honestly wouldn't mind paying money for an expansion if they showed the same love and attention to detail for another horror franchise. Shame about Halloween though. It'd make the most sense after Jason. Nightmare on Elm Streer would be so fun as Freddy wrecking in a neighborhood instead of camps.

Are the perks working properly?
I have an 'epic' Lone Wolf that reduces fear while alone by 9%, and I've got a 'poor' Night Owl that reduces fear in the dark by 16%.
Then I've got a 'uncommon' Heavy Mover that speeds up barricading by 32%.
Those percentages seem all over the place, right? Especially the two fear based ones.

Exactly. I love Michael Myers, so I wouldn't mind having a different kind of game with him, though.
I still stand by my earlier statement that Freddy would be good in a game like this. Weird dreams instead of camps. Opens up what they could do with maps a lot.

I can't even begin to imagine how taxing it would be on the engine to have Tina throwing shit around. Not to mention she's a nightmare from a balance perspective. I personally don't see her being added and I'm glad, as I'd much rather seem them focus on new maps.
But your at the mercy of the host connection, least with quick play its dedicated servers

They don't own the rights, though. Depending on the specifics of the license, these folks might still be able to use the property for an expansion on this game.DBD currently has that unfortunately

Private matches through LFG have been pretty stable for me so far
I want an Evil Dead game like this... That would make me very, very happy.

Possibly a dumb question but are all the item spawns completely random? Or would say, the car keys/gas/battery tend to spawn nearby the car?
And does the luck stat of an counselor have anything to do with finding any items?

1 player plays as a force the other players cant see that can possess objects to try and kill players and every time a player is killed that player returns as a deadite to try and kill the rest of the survivors repeat until either everyone becomes a deadite or everyone escapes
edit: a return of the living dead game would play similar as well except instead of a invisible possession force you play as a tarman to infect everyone else
edit: i guess it wouldnt be invisible they are always running away from it i think it was supposed to be like a black fog that possesses things in evil dead
That is a solid take. I think you would need to have more barricade options. Also, probably a tighter combat engine.

I'm gonna pick this up this week, what's the best system for it? By which I mean, which has the bigger playerbase? I'm leaning towards PS4 but that could change.

I would recommend PC. Big playerbase and the Matchmaking works.

Peak players on PC today was 10,693. Don't know about any other platforms, but that should give you an idea.

More maps should be their main priority, I think Part 5 and part 8 should get maps.
It's locked in place. It is the only finisher you can't swap out.
Every private match I've tried to play today has kicked everyone within 5 mins into the game. Two of them I've been Jason and I haven't been Jason in like 10 matches. This game is so frustrating and any other time I would delete the game or ask for a refund, but this game is so fun and addicting. I'm torturing myself trying to play this game with all of its faults...

I'd love a ship map where you have to escape in lifeboats or something. Also a spaceship map, obviously. Maybe even a Springwood neighborhood map from Freddy vs Jason.

Playing as Jason I got tea-bagged by Tommy Jarvis when he downed me with the rifle. I don't play online much anymore, but I did not know that tea-bagging was still a thing (is it still a thing?). I admit it was very funny though...
Of course it's still a thing. Blame halo for popularizing it. It won't stop in our lifetime either lol.
