Because you hate Minnesota more, right?!

I moved from a small town outside of Grand Forks to Denver and now I have to put up with all this DU love around me :(

nah, it's from growing up in ND (18 years) but then attending NDSU, hence I hate UND but like Sioux hockey :)

That's a good question. My theory is that it has something to do with not being able to have a D1 hockey team and therefore it would be pointless to try and play UND in hockey and thereofre pointless to have a hockey team. The only games anyone cared about for any sports were the UND/NDSU games, well until NDSU went D1 AA and UND stopped playing them in all sports.

I'm surprised that Canada the "hockey nation" isn't covering this more up here in leiu of any NHL. More and more guys college guys are making an impact in the NHL. As it is it's barely a passing thought in these parts.

I would care, but there are no Hockey East teams. My black bears didn't make it this year :(

Unfortunate for Maine, too. Jimmy Howard is a kick ass goalie.

I'm hoping for a CC/UMN final, with a UMN win. I hate ... HATE ... HATE the Sioux.

Although, they are playing VERY well. They handled BC quite handily. What was up with the East Coast teams this year? The only coast team I like is BC, and they couldn't pull through for me.
