I have to be content watching it over and over with no sound at work though So it's not quite bonesgasming me yet. I still hope the questionable stuff with the retarded looking villian is not a major part of the film, plz only be a 15 mins section ^^;

It was surprisingly entertaining considering how it's pretty much unsalvagable as a serious work. I summed up Mai HiME really well in one sentence after I finished the episode so I'll put that in spoiler text, but my general opinion is that it was a good ending.

<duck|Good_End[kinda]> Mai HiME is a highly enjoyable anime about how an evil alien tries to invade an action comedy anime about likable characters, silly anime archetypes and cool mecha and turn it into a serious Battle Royale show only to fail because the power of fun action comedy overpowers lame angst and depression and be DESTROYED by happiness!

I was pretty much overjoyed and incoherent after seeing the trailer. Considering the date, and how even I thought it was a joke on a Taiwan forum.... it was just part of my brain reaction flowing into the typing.

But YAY! Now Shouta can join the FMA maniacs and see the greatest for himself! Hope you like it!

I was never a big fan of FMA. I didn't enjoy it much seeing it the first time. I'm kind of digging the show a bit more through the dub though.
