I usually read that if you have larger resolutions it's better to have bigger tablets, and so forth.

I think I have a case of TMI... I think I have never been so embarrassed in my life before today. Some things are not meant to be unseen...

Also, I think simply searching kind of stinks in FA, since you get a lot more than what you bargained for, and also a lot of bad art.

I guess I probably should look for the good stuff and then follow them instead. It seems like I probably have a rare taste to cause such an issue with searches, but... you never know.

Back to drawing stuff... I think I prefer drawing with a pencil and paper. I don't know if I'll change my tune once I get a tablet that supports pen input.

It might be, for some people. Usually your usable drawing space on the tablet is going to be mapped to your viewable area on screen. So if you had a small tablet and a large monitor each movement you make would look amplified on screen... but, I've used large and small tablets and I've never had a problem with this. Your brain adjusts pretty quickly.

Anyways, I always think it's a good idea to get the biggest tablet you can afford. But I also think that having a small tablet is way better than having no tablet.

Mmm.

What do you think of tablet computers that support pen input by themselves?

Well the Intuos Comic and Art small size are only $100. I say only because that's on the cheap side for anything Wacom puts out.

There's also the Intuos Draw going for about $69 if you don't need the touch features (you probably don't) http://www.amazon.com/dp/B010LHRFWW/?tag=neogaf0e-20

I personally can't vouch for the quality of these particular products since I've never tried them, but Wacom usually makes quality stuff.

I actually got recommended this the other day. Definitely seems like the best choice for beginners like me anyway.

Okay, I'll be eyeing for Draw.

I wonder if tablet will improve my drawings tho.

All right, I guess I have to try it out for myself.

Unfortunately, I can't really give you an opinion either way because I have limited experience with them. I've heard the iPad Pro with Pencil is pretty good, but I haven't had a chance to use it. For better or worse, I've pretty much been a Wacom tablet user most of my life.

Have you been drawing with a mouse this whole time? If so, a tablet will take some time and readjusting to get used to. I can't say that it will improve your drawings... you may find that it's easier, and faster to draw with a tablet once you've gotten used to it. The pressure sensitivity definitely gives you more versatility, and I find that it makes things like sketching, a more organic process. Getting better is entirely up to you though.

Done the lines and colours for the head. Dunno if it looks good or not, but it seems to be a whole lot of different compared to what I was getting when I began.

Now, I think I might want to experiment with different styles, once I get a tablet... it's hard to experiment with different "painting" styles when the only viable drawing tool that can be wielded naturally is a pencil for me.

Yeah I'm hoping it'd be at least a fun experience.
In my experience a tablet certainly improves the amount of time it takes to pump out a drawing and the ease of which you are able to do so. I've certainly had more fun than with a mouse.

As far as the actual quality of your art though, that will still be based on your own abilities as an artist.

Awesome! *o*

Just found this, some medieval birds since I'm so obsessed with that time period at the moment.

I am wondering how often she has to get her skirt fixed or replaced because her clawed feet rip tears into them all the time. Must be really annoying.

Great art but be warned, the other drawings and animations are mostly only for an adult audience so definitely NSFW. (source / gallery)

Boss Doggie, I was surprised when I clicked on the pregnant pet thread and saw your avatar. That's one aspect of pet ownership I never really considered. xD

Also, there are tigers wearing booty shorts in Zootopia. Hundreds of furry awakenings incoming!

Hunk Magala more like.

Is that supposed to be a demon? I love how furries always make their demon creatures ripped as hell.

For reference, Gore Magala is a dragon in MH4U. 4 legs, wings that look like a cloak, very fast, spits dark energy.

When enraged, it's feelers stand straight up and it gains bright purple highlights on its body. It also becomes much more dangerous to fight - faster, more damage, new attacks, the whole deal.

It's a shame it matures into the ugly Shagaru. It's like Grovyle evolving into Sceptile... Or Braixen into Delphox. Just bleh.

Gore Magala was such a pain to fight when I started the game. ._. Made me want to stop playing, but thankfully I got some help online and did him in with better equipment. The rest of the SP campaign was easy in comparison.

What a brat, yeah. Even more aggressive, stomping around like some angry little goth teen. :D

I do like their appearance most when they are calm. Reminds me of some majestic wild cat when you see one just strolling through the fields.

It's pretty funny, but also sad that people can't keep it in their pants around a children's cereal mascot.

(At least don't @ the guy if you're going to be thirsty, dang)

Tony the Tiger is one of the things I'd like to remain a cereal mascot. It's bad enough when artists put Charizard in compromising positions. D:

Lmao @ Tony going all Hideki Kamiya and blocking everyone. That poor PR team.

I don't know what's the problem, harras someone, get blocked. Just because it's a mascot all rules are off and all is fair game?

I really wonder if Zootopia is gonna address the missing sentient birds and reptiles. Unless they're the food source...
I also think real furries were involved in its creation. I mean, dancing muscular tigers? Animal nudists?

I found something that might be of interest.

Super Lesbian Animal RPG

Originally starting out as a shipping oriented My Little Pony fangame, the developer of it eventually decided to replace some of the characters and assets so as to not upset Hasbro. Now instead all the characters are furries! Its supposed to be an Earthbound-like RPG, at least in how combat works and how silly some of the dialogue is, however otherwise it appears to be made in RPGMaker, but with mostly if not completely original assets.

Anyways, for more information, to quote the developer:
Developer said:
That’s right! Instead of letting SLHRPG’s status as a fangame that Hasbro doesn’t approve of force it into obscurity forever, I’m doing what I always said I would do: replacing all the copyrighted characters with original ones, giving me more creative freedom both on this game and with potential future projects involving these characters. And while I’m at it, I’m expanding and improving upon every aspect of the game. A refined story, improved graphics, a bit more player choice, new areas to explore, the works

And these are the game’s new main protagonists:

Melody is a kindhearted trans fox who lives out in the woods. She recently became a paladin so that she could keep her girlfriend healed while out on dangerous adventures, but she’s worried that her anxieties will keep her from being as helpful as she’d like. She’s just gotta try and stay positive. Melody’s doing her best, okay?

Allison is an adventurous and strong rabbit who’s dating Melody. She just wants to fight monsters and hang out with her girlfriend. She can be a little overbearing, and people say she loves the sound of her own voice, but she’s always reliable when it counts. She also depends on Melody a lot more than she’d like to admit

Claire is a trans cow and the leader of the bunch. She has extensive knowledge of witchcraft–possibly too much for her own good. In spite of her sometimes intimidating know-it-all persona, she’s trying to prove she’s a good friend. Unfortunately, building dangerous, monster-filled dungeons to test her friends’ skills doesn’t really help her case

The game will be releasing sometime in 2016, and until then I’ll post regular updates on my blog in the #SLARPG tag
Anyways, while it sounds strange in idea, I'm actually really impressed with the pixelart in this game. At the very least, the game's assets have a lot of detail and effort put into them. The dialogue also based on the speech bubble in that one screenshot makes me think that it might be kind of cute too! As such, I'm...well, excited. And I thought you guys might find it interesting too!

I uh... o_o

Onta was approached by Image Comics to make a comic staring his extremely pornographic characters for their ongoing anthology series. This will be in comic shops the world over.

I just preordered.

Heh I saw that when I went to a comic store a couple days ago. Didn't bother opening it through.:p I had my mind set on Cry Havoc anyway, a cool new werewolf/monster unit story.
