I'm never able to participate in these threads as they happen as I'm usually LttP to everything, especially on consoles. Also, this year, I got hopelessly addicted to the Ouendan games to the exclusion of many other fine games, but here's my top 5 list for games released in 2008:

1) Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
2) Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
3) Final Fantasy IV DS
4) Disaster: Day of Crisis
5) Nanostray 2
 
Up through page 14 counted. That'll be it for a few days. Nothing big this go around. Persona 4's been climbing the ranks more and more recently.

Technically it is a remake but it felt like a brand new game in the series due to all the stuff they added. It's the definitive example of how remakes should be approached. BCR is also on the PC. I think you're right aout MM9's availability on the Wii having to do with it's placement. That explains why World of Goo is so high up there.

I have a feeling I would put Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts on there if I played it. Watched a friend play it and I did mess around a bit, but it looked fantastic to me. Also de Blob, Kirby Super Star Ultra.

I'd be cool with a SoA-team game, Braid, or Mirror's Edge game being the ones to do it. And last year at this time there were still about 14 pages left to go. Right now there's 8. This thread's moving just slightly faster than the 2007 one did.
