Wow. Crazy.I have his last album, yeah a record, signed by EZ and Yella. I was at a record store in Houston and they just walked in. I bought the album, asked them to sign and they were cool as hell about it.

So apparently Madlib had nothing to do with that Blu album and it has since bene pulled from Bandcamp:

]B.o.B - So Good
So last night I listened to Below the Heavens for the first time. Guys, I cannot believe it took me this long to check it out. Album is fucking incredible. The production is amazing, every beat and sample is so perfect, the lyrics are so real and relatable, and his flow is always on point. First listen and I was completely blown away. I think it's probably the most enjoyment I've gotten out of a first listen ever. Been bumping it all day and I think I'll be riding this for a while. Probably already a top five album of the decade for me. Man it's so good. What were your guys' initial impressions when you first heard it? Am I overexaggerating or do you guys see the album same way I am? Heard you guys say he's dropped off since then, truly a shame. I definitely wasnt feeling that December release of his like this.

Incredible album, it's almost perfect. So last night I listened to Below the Heavens for the first time. Guys, I cannot believe it took me this long to check it out. Album is fucking incredible. Now you can go listen to everyting else he's released since and be heartbroken. Then you'll be on our level.
Amnesia, and Johnson&Jonson are the only "good" releases he's done since BTH
By Amnesia you mean Her Favorite Color, right?
Also, the C.R.A.C. Knuckles album wasn't bad, he also has two mixtapes called Soul Amazing or something like that that were okay if I remember.
And put me in the camp that liked NoYork and a few of his releases from his uhm....recent non-mastering phase. Give Me My Flowers and Jesus most notably.
Oh and he also produced an album with Sene that wasn't half bad either.
Anyway, Tyler, yeah Below the Heavens is a fucking classic.
Not a huge fan of the CRAC Knucks album. It's alright but J&J was better.By Amnesia you mean Her Favorite Color, right?

there was album like that its was called motm1 i am not even kidding. dod shouldve been on the album i have no clue why he waited 8 years to release it. he still hasn't officially released never come down, that shit just sorta leaked.Fuck Cudi man. I listened to Dose of Dopeness thinking it was on WZRD and was getting hyped. Now I know it was over 3 years old. I could take an album full of tracks like Dose of Dopeness.
i don't mind. i can ride to it.

it kinda had that "needs more new songs" kinda vibe for me. i fucking hated make her say.MOTM1 was good, but this was a slightly different vibe. Cant explain it but it hit me like A Kid Named Cudi did.
fuck i totally forgot about this. i just assumed it got posted and i just missed it.So the AOTY results thread is Detox'd, huh?

1. Rick Ross
2. Drake
3. Kanye
4. Nicki Minaj
5. Lil Wayne
6. Jay-Z
7. Meek Mill
8. Wiz Khalifa
9. Big Sean
10. Wale
Game has done so good tracks, but he is always killed on his own tracks. This is no exception. I mean, sure none of these Slaughterhouse fucks know how to ride this beat correctly, and Budden stays boring as fuck...but still.
Why hasn't this been posted in here, gaf?
Anyone see MTV's hottest MC's list of 2012 or someshit?
Jesus christ lmao
Why hasn't this been posted in here, gaf?
What does this even mean?
shit, thats pretty smooth. Why hasn't this been posted in here, gaf?
we already made fun of the list. we all agreed it was crap. get with hive mindset already.hottest =/= best.
it's a great list if you ask me.
"almost famous" people (kendrick, rocky, danny brown, etc) shouldn't be anywhere near it.
That list still doesn't make sense only because I never hear anybody talking about Wale or Meek Mill. When the last time either has been given much attention even here?
But I don't pay attention to sales so I guess their stuff is selling great?
They are hot in the streets plus the MMG connection.
Ambition sold well and Dreamchasers was pretty hot. And they had huge singles
In Philly, all people listen to is that Meek and Wale shit, and Ross by association
I don't think I've ever knowingly listened to meek mill song. Searching on my itunes all I have are some guest spots. Never heard anybody talking about Wale, and the only people talking about big sean around here are 14 year old white kids.
edit: not talking about gaf, talking about in real life
hottest =/= best.

crooked goes in
Yeah the cover alone reminds me of that "Shades On" song that was circling around YouTube for a bit. Can't listen. Those sunglasses make it physically impossible for me to even attempt it.
