Man, you just mentioned my two favorite tracks from my favorite album *brofist*IrishNinja said:@ vein: you're so lucky blastar predates that. i was this close to quoting some respiration lyrics, or just borrowing half of theives in the night from life, illusions of oasis makin' you look twice shit.
ReconYoda said:Kinda meh on this Yelawolf joint. Was expecting great things.. How is this album so mellow...i wanted some damn hype music.
coldvein said:See, i exist /iron fist / metal speech / scientist /
came out the womb of a phoenix / expect nothin less
than a mature flame / velocity's my plane / my thought is my train
the galaxy is the body / the sun is the heart / and the black hole is the brain.. heard my verse? you got nothin to say..
Blackace said:Yela has always been meh to me...but even I know not to expect hype from him..

drip, drip.
Who cares? Make the OT!DominoKid said:nah i wouldnt do an OT for this album. Yela aint really big like that. i doubt people will even talk about Radioactive in here for more than a page or 2.
Yeah, I like it alot more today. I was just super tired yest when I listened/ my expectations were for something different. I like the more ballady songs much more now. Not what I expected/wanted, but the lyrics and storytelling are good enough. Also, like you said, surprisingly personal.ReconYoda said:It is a solid 3.5/5 to me. But it definitely wasn't what i wanted from Yela, but it isn't bad.
ReconYoda said:Lebron Nikes always look like garbage. I see that trend continues.
Tguy said:Goin to have to give that yelawolf and some of the other tapes posted a listen later.
I was listening to R4 this morning and it reminded me I never listened to that David Banner & 9th Wonder album that came out last year(?), what did yall think about it?
9th's new album is also way better.Slizz said:Decent. Banner's newer shit since has sounded a lot better. But if you're listening for 9th then yeah its OK.
Yeah... I really would have liked a Gucci feature- see:kamspy said:I'm a little higher on Radioactive than I was this morning, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to reach the highs on Trunk Muzik. There are too many songs I could just throw away. I'm really shocked.
Now, I'm not calling it a bad album, it's a bad album for Yelawolf. Still better than most shit.
Mad props for the Shawty Fat and Mystical features. Eminem pretty much ruins Throw it Up, and I'm not even saying that in my usual Em hate way. He just doesn't fit the song. Would have much better with Juicy J or Project Pat.
Also, where the hell is my Gucci feature?
ReconYoda said:Eminem pretty much kills that track, in a good way. Gangsta Boo can barely stay on beat.
ReconYoda said:A gucci feature would of ruined the album for me. Gucci's stupid ass flow would of been so bad next to Yela.
DominoKid said:i'm not a big fan of the lebron line. i have a pair of the 8.2 to play basketball in. but i havent gone gaga over any of his since the 4 came out.
kamspy said:Not really. He's so out of touch with reality that the content of his verse is just wack.
Of course you'd hate Gangsta Boo. She's the best female MC of all time. You've got that self esteem complex that prevents you from liking female MCs. It's alright though man, clearly the qualities of the song are lost to you.
It's pretty much common knowledge that Gucc and Yela have great chemistry. I know you subscribe to the "NO FUN ALLOWED IN HIP HOP" theory, so this statement isn't really shocking. The song would have flown right over your head anyways.
