I swear Jeezy has just made the same exact song over and over and over for his entire career. I had a bunch of random young jeezy songs on my playlist and I thought it kept repeating the same tracks. I had to double check to make sure repeat wasn't on.

Goddamnit amazon..Pilot talk is 8$ on amazon.com and not even available in Austria? WTF?

I ordered it and now they say it isn't availabe anymore and gave me back my money..

And Straight Killa is delayed as well?

I actually want to help these artists by buying their music (only buy physical copies) and they don't let me?

It's not like I have any alternative where I live..

Well, to be fair Lasers was a fucking stupid-ass name. "We're not losers. We are LASERS!"
No. No, you're a loser. So, maybe he's going back in and taking this album seriously now. We'll see.

BTW, the DJ free version of Game's Brake Lights came out. And shockingly, it's really, really good. I don't even fuck with Game like that but almost every track surprises me. Reminds me that he can actually put out decent music when he shuts his fucking mouth and hits the studio.

Huh, was there a new Drake mixtape released?

I see the No More Thank Yous stuff, but there were some more tracks that came out:

Drake - Message From You

Drake - I'm Ready For You

Are these tracks on another mixtape I'm missing? Sorry if this was already posted or in one of the other Drake topics.

I believe both of these tracks are unfinished and are rumored to be on Drake's upcoming R&B mixtape.

edit: actually, apparently not: http://twitter.com/drakkardnoir/status/20512070839

None of the songs leaking are mine...all work for others.

MC ADaD just released a mixtape with Black Milk

ADaD is a Chicago MC who sounds a bit like a mix of Elzhi and Mos Def. He's currently working with Exile on an album, which I'm sure will be amazing given Exile's track record (Blu, Fashawn, Blame One, etc). Definitely looking forward to that.

He's also on Exile's new remix album, AM/FM - remixing one of the best songs on Radio, Sound of God. Can't find it on youtube but it's awesome

It seems Jeezy is going the 50 cent route and diss Officer Ricky to get some free publicity. What I don't understand is why ain't he just admitting that the song in question is aimed at Ross. It's not exactly subliminal or anything.

Should be a very lame beef since both odf them can't rap for shit.

Full article here:

Young Jeezy Says "Death Before Dishonor" Not Aimed At Rick Ross

Btw: Listened to this brilliant album today, lot of people said it was dissapointing I had very high expectation and still was impressed:

Oh and that Wale tape kinda grew on me, am I the only one who thinks he sounds way better over southern beats than "normal" ones?

They both have decent flows at the least IMO...And quiet as kept no one has actually out rapped Rick Ross on his B.M.F., which is just sad.

No, no, no. Lasers is a different entity -- and it will still be released eventually ... whenever Atlantic gets off of their own balls.

Food and Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album will come out after it. Lupe tweeted months ago that he's actually working on this album which is ironic because Lasers did not even get here yet. =(

This is really good, it's too bad it's so short and only 192k. "Got It" & "Good" are great songs. Always looking forward to anything Exile.

That new Bun B is album of the year material.

I agree. I do think that if he had chopped off 2 or 3 tracks it would be alot better. I think that is what is so good about Rick Ross' CD. Not obvious fluff on it. Rap-A-Lot should have put one of the Drake tracks as the single instead of "Trillionaire". So many people hate that song.

From Ballerstatus.com -

Eminem's Recovery holds steady at no. 2 for the second week in a row, selling another 152,000 copies.

A couple slots down, Bun B's new album Trill OG lands at no. 4 to open with 41,000. It's the rapper's first release distributed through Universal's indie arm Fontana, and has gained a lot of attention within the hip-hop biz after receiving the coveted 5 Mic "Classic" rating from The Source magazine in their latest issue. His previous album, 2008's II Trill, debuted and peaked at no. 2 with 98,000.

I have a feeling I missed a great show last night...

Cam'ron, Vado, Bun B, Capone-n-Noreaga, Jadakiss & D-Block... (I heard MOP would be there too but I haven't talked to my friends who went).

Shit went from 11pm to 4:30am though. I doubt I could've lasted that long anyway.

I was getting twitter updates from the show. I think they were broadcasting it on Ustream too. I know Ghostface was backstage, not sure if he got onstage.

I went to the Bun B show here and while it was a bit too short, I thought he put on a good show. Seeing how most of the songs he performs were intended to have two people, it makes things a bit awkward and disjointed at times. But a good show regardless.

I didn't hear anything about him getting on stage, but if he did, I may off myself. I'm going to school upstate soon so this was my last chance to see a great hip hop show for awhile, and Ghost is my FAVORITE ARTIST. My makes my favorite MUSIC, yet I've never seen him for one reason or another.

I know Bun B only did one song but D-Block did a small set.

This is one of the greatest songs you'll hear in your life. I like the representation MOP is getting in this thread, they're so underrated.

Better? No? It is the original. The way I view chopped and screwed albums is that they are simply fun. I throw them on when I get tired of the original or obviously when I'm under the influence for poops and giggles.

Gibbs EP is finally on it's way, yehaa!

And I love screw tapes as long as it's not too chopped but I don't like the way Watts does it(not as bad as Wall though), Screw had a way more relaxed and smooth approach. Btw: I dunno if you can do this with an Ipod but if I put an album on my Sansa Fuze under audiobooks I can play it slowed down.
