My bad for any trouble I caused. And I haven't started whoring my mixtape out everywhere yet I was legitimately looking for feedback from people with the same interests as me, so I came here.

Kyzer I really like half of this mixtape, your flow is pretty much always on...You kind of remind me of Mac Miller but with more charisma, but I think about a third of the tracks are guilty of overproduction. There's simply too much going on with the beat to pay any attention to you. That would be my biggest constructive criticism, not that you should care lol.

But I do think that there is seriously a rap overload going on right now. Every week there are atleast 3 quality releases put out for free. Maybe it is a mixtape by an artist, some compilation of the best tracks out now, whatever. It is seemingly impossible for any one release to get traction. When I think about it that way, I don't blame Wiz for going after some crossover radio play with "Roll Up". Hell, that is something that is going to have more traction than the jam of the week or day. Rap is even more disposable now than ever because of the quantity. I think it is impossible for any rap song to come out now and be a universal anthem. I mean something like "The Choice is Yours", "Big Pimpin", "Big Poppa", "C.R.E.A.M.", "Me So Horny".
Everything is so splintered now with individual segments getting served daily. Not sure if this is a good thing overall for rap.

I got that new Killer Mike, and I also agree about Hip Hop music being insanely overloaded. I just can't keep up with all these new releases plus juggling my other entertainment hobbies + real life crap.
We as a species have to find a way to eliminate the need to sleep. Those 6-8 hours can be used to catch up on all this music.
