Oxymoron fell off the playlist a few months afterwards, certainly made it further than 90059's single play. Still think it's a decent album that got way more shit than it deserved, but again it doesn't properly scratch the same itch that got people to like Q in the first place. Okay Alright gives me hope that Q is gonna bring things back to being a bit grimier.

90059 needs to be compared to These Days, there's probably a better discussion there. The second half of Just Have Fun is more memorable than anything in 90059 IMO.

I mean most full albums fall off my playlist. But the great tracks I listed are still on my phone. I do agree about it not hitting that craving I had for HnC evolution. I remember hearing There He Go and being obsessed with the overall sound of the track. His flow and mannerisms. I don't think I necessarily agree about it not being grimey enough, as certain songs have that feel to it. Though it gets ruined with fake ass party tracks like Hell of a Night. Ironically, I do feel like I want some more of Q straight swagging on the next album. Akin to like There He Go or Sexting.
Don't think I can even remember a single track off of These Days
Yeah, I literally do not.

If you're tired of seeing dudes dancing in they videos, making songs for the ladies, and trying to feign remorse for living their vice filled lives listen to Super Villain. #ha Hef ain't scored to admit what he is, there's too many villainous characters out there trying to perp like they heroes. Shit sound like 97 murder rap, cooked up in a Harlema crack alley. Every song got me contemplating a quick come up.

The track with Ross would be so much better as a Ross solo

"You know the name, Top Dawg, bitch!
No cat in this/Katniss, I volunteered for these Hunger Games"

"Real nigga shit, she wanna be righteous young rich nigga bitch
Are you a lesbian or a librarian? I know you got room for my dick
Shhh, Tionary in your library then
This ain’t a fairy tale, you are not dreaming, that Vitamin C, it is not semen
I'm prestigious, might press up on you-"

2015 has been a dope ass year for hip hop, what else is releasing?

Mac Miller
The Game
Kanye West (?)
Freddie Gibbs (?)
Kid Cudi (?)
Casey Veggies
Kirk Knight
Flatbush Zombies
More Curren$y
Vic Mensa

The year that keeps on giving. Also 90059 is growing on me hard, I fucks with Gumbo, Fly on the Wall, Money Trees Deuce and I added Parental Advisory. The album is a 6-7/10

damn so the Drake/Future tape got pushed back for paperwork.

i think that line was the exact moment where i lost hope in Ab-Soul

This is actually by design. Under times of extreme distress, the brain shuts out potentially disturbing or harmful memories. Like any of These Days, or the Tony Yayo discography.

Views from the 6 hopefully. Or maybe this Future x Drake tape.

Maybe Q's new album also if TDE stops being bad.

Q gonna have trouble handing in his album after he finish it. Gonna keep catching Top in the TDE offices trying to do other things.

"Q! What's up man? So excited to hear the final master man, but todays kind of a busy day man. SZA and Rashad's bunk bed collapsed and SZA is running low on freckle markers so I gotta make this trip out to IKEA man, but I should be free later this week so just hit my pager brah."

"Yo! Quincy! Haaaah didn't know you were in the are- what? Nah man, just gotta drive Soul to and sit in on these Loose Change meetings he says his rehab doctor or medicinal herb specialist or something told him to go to, supposed to be enlightening or some shit. Anyways, as soon as I get back to the studio, we're good to go!"

"Hey Q, I'll be right back man, gotta go deliver these alligator hair clips to Kendrick at his studio in NY; he asked me not to take a plane and walk instead to provide some relief to our brothers, the black fossil fuels across our great earth, so it might be a minute but you're next up playboy!"

I actually get the feeling Q has a lot more weight in TDE than everything else. With Kendrick only having one foot in the door, and everyone else fighting for scraps. He's the one that orchestrated Black Hippy, he's the one that's always been about being a team player. In some ways I think it's because he doubted himself more than everyone else, but he's put work into everyone and in turn has gotten the most out of it.

Listened to the new Juicy J and that shit is really good, dude can do no wrong. The best in his lane no contest.

I tried to listen to 90050 but I couldn't finish it, Money Tress and Gumbo aside, I just can't finish most of the track. He is boring as fuck. I will give it another try tomorrow in the bus, but I don't think it will get any better.

I liked Vice City but not because of Rock, also Ab Soul is running for that French Montana tier of shitness. What an awfully bad excuse for a rapper he is. Q is amazing as usual, one of the most entertaining guys out there.

I put a lot of my expectations on that Rashad track but he doesn't even get a verse. Garbage track, fuck this shit, I'm mad thirsty for Rashad verses.

I also expected a lot of that Easy Bake track, but it's not good at all. Kendrick does his thing but there are 56734349 track out there that he does his thing and are better. SZA is good but her part was too short.

I've never seen any other label mismanage their artists like them

Damn shame, I fucks with most of TDE (Ab-Soul circa Control System was dope). Impatiently awaiting some new Rashad and more Groovy Q is always welcome.

Control System was such a good project. The album was consistent, the songs were dope, and the theme was there. Book of Soul though :(

Major props for this. I been looking for some radio mixes on soundcloud that don't sound like rubbish. First Ear Radio and Dj Raphael are the only mixes I check out, but I'll give these a listen .

E-A-Ski: 1 Step Ahead of Yall

Some of you may have heard E-A-Ski produce some tracks such as SPICE-ONE’s “Trigga Gots No Heart”, but did you know he was a No Limit Soldier? Originally released on In a Minute records, but eventually was released on No Limit Records, E-A-Ski dropped his debut album “1 Step Ahead of Yall”. The album consisted of hard hitting tracks like Inch Mile and Straight Business. E-A not only deliver street certified beats, but he shows that he’s no slouch on the mic as E-A holds his own throughout the short 9 track album. Overall, it’s not a bad album and a good debut to one of most slept on producers of all time.

Overall Score: 8.0

1993 is coming up soon with...sighs Sonya C's debut album "Married to the MOB" :/

Q would have to get a November release right? Usually labels shy away from December. So yea, I doubt he makes it out this year. Maybe we'll get a single in November, album scheduled for February but released in April lol.
