Halfway through GO:OD AM and it's already pretty great. Production quality is way up and the features are good so far. Shaping up to be pretty great.

Edit - I think this is shaping up to be his best album. Afraid the hype is getting to me, though.

I still can't get over Mac Miller dropping hot ass albums. I remember trolling dude hard as shit with a friend a few years back...

shut my ass up real quick.

Yo the production on this Mac Miller album

The switch up on 100 Grandkids whew. Don't know how I missed this track considering it's the lead single.

GO:OD is fantastic, just finished my first listen. Best production Mac has had, and he's great on them.

Checking out this GOOD AM right now.

It's a damn shame Mac Miller got a better verse from Ab Soul than his own group.

Yeah very good album there's some songs that can be cut but other than that I really enjoyed it.

I honestly can't believe I'm enjoying a Mac fucking Miller album. In a million years I never thought this was possible.

EDIT: Oh, okay, there is the Miller I'm more familiar with (Time Flies)

GO:OD AM could do with some trimming (Perfect Circle/God Speed and ROS don't need to take up nearly 14 minutes) but I like a lot of tracks on here. Really enjoy the production and Miller's pretty ok- he's flowing at least..

Top 5:

2nd half of 100 Grandkids is the best thing on the album
When In Rome (Wait no, the 2nd half of this one might the best jeeeesus)
Rush Hour
Festival
Jump

Will try to write something up on this tonight. Great album.

Looking forward to reading it. Love that album. I remember begging the owner of this record store for a early copy of The Minstrel Show, she hooked me up and my face lit up like Christmas morning. Played that shit until the ring was around the disc.

Soul didn't even die on his track either.

Thank god.

My top 3 tracks after first listen (in no order):

Weekend
When In Rome
Jump

But honestly I don't dislike anything on here, which is remarkable as I'm not a huge Mac Miller fan.

GO:OD AM is legit for me. Enjoyed it.

GO:OD AM is a nice listen, especially for the production.

But this isn't even the first good Mac Miller project imo. Far from it. He's not exactly the most exciting rapper ever, but he's solid and can put together a good album.

New DOOMStarks track "Lively Hood". Part of the Adult Swim singles series.

sigh....

Meh. Beat is vintage DOOM - but at the same time that can mean it was made this year or 10 years ago for Special Herbs. Ghost sounds like he's been sounding lately but the verses aren't bad - the chorus is what kills it. It's 2015 and we're still hearing underground hip hop choruses/hooks no one would recite at a live show. Throw that shit in the bushes. DOOM's verse is cool.

This was once my most anticipated album. Now I honestly don't care.

Just noticed Mac Miller is on my favorite track of Bang 3 lol, never paid attention to that. He and Keef are too good together.

So Mac is continuing with the sound he had on Watching Movies? (ie. Good production and no frat boy/college party lyrics?) Before that album everyone here pretty much hated him. That album was a nice effort, and if his new one is even better I'll give it a listen.

This and The Listening are two of my all-time favorite rap albums. So many good memories of my youth.

First time listening to a Mac Miller album. Really liking the smooth production. Man, this year is crazy...
