Game adopts Kendrick's weird voice flow on the first track I like Game, though.
It's crazy to me how long Jay Z and DMX had to grind and then the insane success they had.

In 1994, No Limit Records came out with a compilation entitled West Coast Bad Boyz. The album was pretty good and a great effort to get unknown west coast rappers their moment to shine. Now fast forward to 1997, Master P was like lets make a sequel ya heard me. Here we are with the second album West Coast Bad Boyz 2. The album consists of big names such as Westside Connection, C-Bo, Brotha Lynch Hung, RBL Posse, Mac Dre (RIP), Mc Eiht, and more. A roster this big you would expect huge results right? Well not so much. The major problem with the album is the fact that it feels like a slouch compared to the original West Coast Bad Boyz album. A few tracks are on the dull side, but there are plenty of bangers like R.I.P Tupac, Bangin, Datz What I Said, and Paper Chasing.
Also, the album feels like a TRU album with west coast rappers as features. I dont know why and hate the idea that I cant relate to this album. I actually prefer the ruggedness of the first West Coast Bad Boyz album. The aggression and bay area influence of the record just skates all over the sequel. One good thing I can say about West Coast Bad Boyz 2 is that its mastered better than the previous one, but meh
Bottom line, West Coast Bad Boyz 2 is worth checking out if you love west coast hip hop and them laid back lyrics from MC Eiht. Its not going to exceed the greatness of the first album, but at least its considered a banger for the most part.
All I can make it is the video, which camp are we talking about Thugger?this is very surprising coming from this camp

Sure, below is a song that'll give you a taste of the sound of the artist, so you can get a feel if you wanna go down that path.

Shlohmo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3R15zsde14 (note that he's moved more to pure instrumentals, as in his last album; he played no remixes at the last show I saw him at)

Big Data https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8b4xYbEugo (this is the only one I haven't seen live, but I feel like it could be fun, who knows)

It's a shame Ski doesn't seem to be sought after in this producer arms race. For someone to have evolved the way he has over 2 decades (much like Alc), consistently dropping fresh, varied music, to have such sporadic releases over the past few years (outside of Currensy) is sad. But maybe it's his choice, I dunno.
