Nailed it. I was going to say this too.

For me, it doesn't have anything that approaches Viktorious or American Rapstar but as a whole it's got less songs I skip and more bangers.

4Eva n a Day is the most focused tape from him, and while I love it, the highs there are nowhere near LFTU.

*The only reason this tape hasn't passed Gucci this year for me is that Nacho isn't as brilliant with his ghetto(That's nacho chips/this is nacho bitch - comes really fucking close, though), but if you're looking to wild out, this is your tape. The production on this thing is dark, tight, and it do go BANGBANG. BANGBANGBANG.




Bahwee - Flavors 2

*One clean ass instrumental tape - It's melodic, but bangs with tastefully placed restraint. I feel that it's a good bit front-loaded, butit also features one of the catchier uses of a vox sample that I've heard in a second, so it all works out.



King - Endless Fog EP

*Take burial, sprinkle him with a little bit of that trap blessing, siphon it all through a nes and you'll get your ass this.

Dizaster is one of the bigger names in the scene. He's got a really aggressive rapid fire multi style, known for mixing freestyles in with his written's seamlessly. Had some amazing performances and when he's on his shit there's not many people in the battle scene right now who could beat him.

I never thought Canibus stood a chance to be honest, but I thought he would come better than "Tom Cruise Mom's Shoes" and 3 straight rounds of choking. smh

I bought LFTU other day and I gotta say it's a great and solid debut from KRIT. I love how the album is split into two, love that intro, with the more hyped songs first and the chill songs at the end. He is definitely catering to all his fans and I love it. Maybe it's because I only listen to it now when I'm rolling around in my little Scion Xa (lol) but it's definitely made for cruising. It's not the most introspective work from KRIT but he'll probably get a lot more leeway to create more conceptual albums if this one gets enough sells. I think he has more to offer down the road.

I was surprised how much I liked it when it came out, and it still holds up well. Sheek Louch is not a very interesting rapper but the production is on point and he shows real talent in making songs, even if he lacks skills as an MC.

What is everyone's opinion on that Pusha T- Exodus joint? I had heard a little bit of it when it first came out but didnt pay any attention to it. But I just caught the video of it.

That shit is so hard/dope to me. Pusha went for the jugular on that shit. But what i love the most about that is in the video he puttin my area 757 on something hard. Felt like I was back home.

i know deep lyrics don't get you deep pockets. but ridas recent shit has been...shit. dude was pretty constant with his songs on his first album. but after that, it just became all about the singles.
