Yea I agree. Radioactive dropped 7 months ago, since then we've really had fuck all.

He has an EP he's done with Travis Barker that should be good, Let's Go was fucking hype. But I don't get excited to see a new Yela song posted now, I just hope it's good, and usually end up feeling meh.

Yeah not sure what to expect from Yela's mixtape if he drops it tomorrow but definitely going to give it a listen. I think he just needs some guidance he has a fair amount of talent. Earlier this week he was bitching about Interscope in this interview and was claiming he's going to go back to the Trunk Muzik sound so that's encouraging but I dunno. I just wish he would acknowledge that he still is supposed to be running Slumerican and do stuff with Rittz as Rittz has been making much better music than him lately. I'm down for Country Cousins which is supposed to be him and KRIT but if you listen to Fulla Shit from White Jesus, then I don't see how it isn't clear that what the world really needs, is some kinda Rittz Yela and KRIT project.

That Yela not so much. The chorus is just over-produced to the point that it is a big mess.

The continual onslaught of dope music really put things in perspective for me. Why should I obsess or give a fuck about Act II, Madvillainy 2, Blu & Exile, Swift And Changable, etc when there's so much good shit out there to listen to? This week has been so dope

Made a few pick ups of albums I wanted physically. Although, there's a nice as vinyl of that Big Boi album, and I'll be buying that Liquid Swords set later this month, so both are kinda redundant. Oh well!

Yeah. I bought his album a week ago and haven't listen to it yet. I will tonight though. I heard a few members in this thread recommend it.

I don't want to DJ but would like to try a record player out.

You were pretty much right. Think they were commonly called vinyl records, not really worth correcting lol. I was thinking of making it a hobby too, well in the future, not now lol I'd buy too many knowing me.

Go to a thrift store, pickup a cheap Technics, the needle may be missing but make sure it comes on and spins...Go to radioshack or check online for compatible needles. Done!

yeah that ain't happening.. at least not in Japan.. Technics are a brand name and they aren't making them anymore.. There has to be other turntables that are just as good if not better for just listening..
