Damn that Kendrick tune is sounding like vintage Neptunes!!
They recorded six tracks, at least half better make the album.

Oh, that NWC shit turned my stomach.
Dude's are named Flip and Cheeze? Really!?

Kendrick said he is sticking with in-house TDE producers at the moment for his album because they helped him make Section 80 and they are used to working together. It's probably for the best as long as Dre can either produce or find him a single that is going to do big numbers.

That Katy Perry Ni**as In Paris cover is awful.

Anything Katy Perry does is awful. She doesn't even fucking sing. She just says things loudly in a monotone way while stretching out the last word of each line for a few seconds to give the false impression she is singing. Least talented pop artist out right now.

And everyone involved in that NWC tape should be beat to death with a hammer.

What if she did a porno? That might be alright.

Happy as fuck to hear this, he needs to stay with them for his freshman debut.

Black on both sides it is then.

Also, I listened to Public Enemy's album again. It's a really good album but considering what i've already listened to it's not an album I think i'll keep on my iPhone to listen to. I'd still reccommend any hip-hop fan or anyone looking to get into the genre to listen to it for its importance and influence but for me there are other albums i'd much rather listen to for leisure.

Still good.
I would go Infamous -> Black Star -> Black on Both Sides.

Always preferred Black Star over BoBS.

You should hear Coke Boys 2 peterboy. French get's shit on here but he's the man. In a based way.

Also, that new Obie Trice Watch the Chrome is nice as fuck.

Man, that Salaam Remi hate a few pages back was a head scratcher. It felt like a meme repeated without much evidence behind it.
These are the songs Remi has done with Nas

Nas - Bridging The Gap (classic)
Nas - Get Down (classic)
Nas - Hey Nas (great)
Nas - I Can (N/A, lol)
Nas - Made You Look (classic)
Nas - The N
Nas - Nasty (vicious street banger)
Nas - Suicide Bounce (hot)
Nas - Thief's Theme (classic)
Nas - What Goes Around (classic)
Nas - Where Y'all At?
Nas - Zone Out (Remi cant be held responsible for Braveheart whackness)
Nas - You Can't Stop Us Now
Nas- Be a Nigger Too (great)

His joints for Nas have been overwhelmingly great with almost a half dozen classics. Fuck yall, lol.

Salaam Remi isn't bad, it's just we want to hear Nas on more than just Salaam Remi. I'd trade a Salaam Remi track that can go either way for a Blaze joint any day of the week.

In honour of ME3, I listened to Midnight Marauders for the first time today. So good. Can't believe I had missed out on ATCQ so long. IMO, Low End Theory is still better though. Some funkier stuff on that.

siddx I actually challenge you to download Coke Boyz 2 and not like it. It's almost like some 90s west coast G shit. The beats are different. I was shocked with how good it was. Not change the world good, but very listenable old school feeling G shit. Like mom use to make.

Good news! I hate when upcoming rappers leave their in-house producers to work with big artists.

A lot of the production is great....but every rapper involved is terrible. So tuuuurible they overwhelm the great production. When French Montana is the central focus of your group, you know you are scrapping the very bottom of the barrel and coming up with pure fossilized shit. I'd rather listen to gucci.

Random thought, is coldvein still banned or did he just decide "fuck gaf you can have it back"

If he's still banned thats one hell of a lengthy ban.

Would have been good without all the "la la la la, dum dum dum dumdum" sing songy stuff in the background. If he is going to do that, might as well bring in Haley Williams again and make the song sell bucketloads.
Yep. totally agree. The actual verses were good though.
