Few pages late to the party, but that Cudi stuff was great for a few laughs. What a bunch of wankery. Projections for Indicud's sales numbers? MotM did 104,000 first week, and MotMII sold around 176,000. "Creepers" was meh, but I still think it'll do over 180,000 in its first week.

I don't know much about him. He came to my college last semester and it was a good show and I watched a couple interviews, he seemed real enough. His music is ok. I like his new song, What I am.

I like Jay Z's youtube channel a lot.

His rant was definitely whiny and stupid, but his new tracks are much better than what WZRD was, so I don't care.

That Rockie Fresh joint was so....uninspired. Sounds lazy on all fronts.

aint that good - beat was aight but it wasnt goldie/peso level for me, verses were throwaway, hook was weak

its not like i can pick that many other singles from that disappointing album to've been on the radio, tho

I tried to get into Cudi. AKNC was pretty enjoyable then his shit shit just got more and more depressed. Dude also seems to have an over inflated sense of his ability. His ad libs are garbage and the Cuddernese, hell naw. People are enabling that shit.

If he was putting out the kind of product people would want, the label wouldn't have taken the foot off the gas. Whining given the opportunities he's had. Someone needs to slap him.

sn: i must've been in a bad mood or something when i listened to that Vinny Chase Golden Arms tape because it's actually alright. his bars need some work though.

How do yall feel about skits on an album?

Listening to Bigs Going Back To Cali, i have a version that starts at the song and skips the skit. Then my iTunes died and i lost all that. Its only something like 1:20 but that can piss me off sometimes.

Listening to an album first couple times skits dont bother me, but over and over they get old. Fast.

At least have them as seperate songs. Putting them into actual songs is a pain to deal with.

Some people pull them off. Most are terrible. Kanye does it well.

Skits are fine. Just put them on a separate track.

In general, I dislike skits. The really drag songs down, especially if they're indulgent 1 minute plus affairs. GKMC treaded the line in a very nice way and I don't think there will be a point where they'll start to bother me

That said, if Wu released a whole album worth of torture skits I'd by that shit in heartbat

De La Soul had good skits IMO, same with Dre and Cube.

Also, PACKINAMACINTHEBACKOFTHEAK.

Most of them are retarded tho.

my feelings on skits tie 100% to whether or not they're skippable...if its some old fugees shit where you get it at the end of every track (or worse yet, they open with it - obvious exception to Wu here), they suck cause you drunk/blazed and gotta get up or lean over to skip that shit now

if i can skip right past broke phi broke or mr hanky AKA mr weatherbee i'm cool
