how was the movie? i never got around to seeing it.
It's worth a watch I suppose, but I found it quite disappointing. I wouldn't go out of your way to see it. A modern day equivalent of a Shaw Brothers classic it is not.

RZA seemed to take some of the criticism on the chin though, lol: -

The company dealing with it have been slack to say the least. I ordered on October 15th and it only turned up today.

At the end of October I emailed Soul Temple Music and asked what's going on and they emailed me back several weeks later to say that there was a delay due to issues with the vinyl pressing plant and clearance rights with some of the tracks on the soul/funk CD. I emailed them a few weeks later for an update and heard nothing.

I then left it for a while before contacting Bandcamp. Someone from Bandcamp contacted me the same day and mentioned the issues with the vinyl pressing plant etc., but said that they would chase it up and issue me a refund if necessary. A few days later I got another email from Soul Temple Music apologising for the delay, but saying that the package was definitely going to be sent. A couple of weeks after that, I got an email confirming that the package had been shipped, then it turned up today.

So I would say that you'll get your order, but the company has been extremely poor in keeping people up to date with the delays and responding to emails. If you're concerned, contact Bandcamp directly.

hmmm, cool, thanks for the explanation. That's definitely more than I've gotten from the Soul Temple Music contact address. They sent me some generic response so I've been in the dark about it for a very long time.

Incredible talent. Dre mentioned Pac has so many songs because he would just sit in the booth and do song after song after song non-stop. He covered such a wide range of bases in hiphop and his voice is just unbelievably powerful.

Sadly. He could have done and meant so much more. He was so young in these interviews and I'm just left wondering what could have been if he had survived.
As stated many times before, I think Pac would have focused on acting if he stayed alive. Maybe make a few albums during said acting career.

Not many can match Pac's charisma, that's for sure.

Definitely agree that he would have focused on movies. I just mean in the social and political sense. His mother was a panther, his lyrics and everything also had that layer of social commentary in a way that others didn't, I wonder what his influence beyond music and movies would have been.

Chief Keef can get more love when he makes his 3rd good song. We shall celebrate for that important milestone in his career.

When non GAF Hop dudes voice their opinions on Hip Hop I feel like pulling my hair out. I forgot what it feels like to be in an internet argument.
