Nothing, but saying you like Converge is like 3 steps from saying you like some shit like As I Lay Dying or Children of Bodom or something aka you should be shot. its not kvlt. its like saying you enjoy a Lil Wayne album. Hey they might even be dece, but its so borderline your cred is shit when you mention it since lots of good music exists.

That Kazim Monsoon doesn't do much for me des, beat was dope though. But the rapper is meh. However, speaking of meh rappers I'm really enjoying that Eddie B. I like some of his cheesy lines and the production is wonderful.

Sorry man, I hated them back in highschool when it was like 2005 and people were just starting to really fruit up death metal with acoustics and clean vocals. trash. absolute gahhhbage. If you want a more balanced opinion, ask wenis or Miri. I was born and raised on the kvlt shit, i cant help you

They have an experimental take on things, so I would say one could describe them as weird, but that doesn't mean they are not accessible.

I think when HRD and ThanksVision say weird they mean like Can and stuff.

I like Opeth but they are kinda baby's first death/black metal band. It's like the kiddy pool, the shallow end. You think you have the heart for that kvlt shit, but really you just like alt/prog hard rock. You're still afraid that you might listen to Bathory and never come back.
